Another balloon

I made my first Prodigy base jump this weekend and my suit has no loop in the back (I got it last month). I have loop on the left side of the jacket...so I guess this means that newer models have taken into consideration what can happen if people don't tuck their jacket into the pants (I saw it on my friend's suit - he is very sloppy!)...And I think this is also primarily causing most of the accidents - people using suits at their "best knowledge", not asking the right people what is right or not...

Great video! In Lysebotn the "locals" were showing us great movie compilation, including also jumps from the wall seen in the video - they made it in smoke pants. But the "norgies" are book for themselves anyway!

I made my first terminal jump from ITTW. Would be the whole different situation if I'd went there alone (zero experiences in wind, landing options...), but I had bunch of experience jumpers behind my back and now I have 14 jumps off it. I'd suggest that you write when you'll be there and ask if there are any of the more experienced guys there at the time to PM you... Unclecharlie is almost cooked and fried there every free weekend ... Ups, did I say sth wrong? FYI: Before my first jumps from this great wall, I had 8 slider-up jumps from S in Croatia...

I know! This is actually my "hidden agenda" ... Will do some more jumps out of flying objects and hope to try it soon from the terminal wall in Italy

I agree with you...Prodigy is for "clostrophobics"! That's why I fly one . I was interested in WS flying from the beginning but obviously lacking those two dangling things between my legs . And ever since I tried this zipper free (phobic-free) suit, I'm in love !!! And starting (to think about) to work out my poor muscular upper part in order to be able to try and maybe even fly a "real" wingsuit one day! But as you guys are more tough, you'll probably aim into the area of GTi or Phantom. I suggest that before the purchase you try them both out! There's a lot of demos out there (also from the Phantom I think), so you can decide based on the feeling and not the opinion of others (trying only one suit)... Wish you all long and safe flights...from the "all-kinds-of-phobic" chick!

It's normal reaction when our spleen is "overloaded". It happens in stressful situation or when we're exhausted - when our heart beat ratio is above what we're used to! Some people smell blood and some taste it in the mouth. It's not a nice feeling, but goes away quickly. With you probably right after your canopy opens ! Kiki

I don't think my parents have a visual of what BASE means and that is probably the reason they don't worry to much (what I can't say about my husband)... My granny is the greatest! Her philosophy is: I'm so much more comfortable with you jumping of "things", since this is much lower that when jumping of the airplane and you have much less possibility to get hurt ... She is almost 80, so I don't bother to oppose her great thinking!
