That sucks that someone would take anyone elses equipment. My only question to you is why didn't you have any of that stuff backed up. I can understand the 14,000 songs since that takes up a tremendous amount of space. But things like family pictures, school files and any other personal information should be backed up constantly. Anything on my computer that is relatively important is also store on a CD and a USB drive and kept in a safe place. I believe that you aren't suppose to leave any ZP canopy inside the d-bag for prolong periods of time. My rigger told me this when I brought my gear. The end results is...well you know the end result. Next time store it in a plastic garbage bag to let the canopy air out. I have owned a sager laptop and it was very nice. You are basically getting everything you would get from an Alienware except you aren't paying for the name. Alienware likes to add on a few hundred dollars so you can have that sweet alienface cover! How cool is that! You need to get down to the DZ and hang out there even if you don't jump. If you are at home there is no chance of you jumping. But if you are at the DZ then you can go either way. I think you also need to trust your instructor(s), he is there for a reason. Don't be afriad to let go, know that if anything goes wrong he is only a feet away from helping you. I felt that same way as you a few times during AFF but I made the jump each and everytime. Why? Because I told myself that I really enjoyed the freefall and if I am not going to get out that door now then I never will, and I didn't want that. Who cares if you did bad on your video, as you said it was your first time being taped! Don't expect to be turning points on a dime. Sit down with your instructor and go over the video to see whats wrong. Learn from your mistakes. Also ask your instructor to throw you a big smile everyonce in a while during the freefall. That might remind you to do the same. I believe the only way to combat your fear is to get up there and keep trying. Force yourself to the DZ, know that at the DZ you have the choice to jump or not. Most importantly have fun! I am sure that you will over come it

I just got a pc109 and I am wondering how do you get the video on the mini dv onto your harddrive? I see options to burn to VCD or DVD but nothing to your hard drive. Most of my studying is done on weekends (I am too beat when I get home from school at night to do HW). At my school full time means 12 credits or more. But now that the seasons is starting up and my weekends will be filled with jumping things are going to get ugly once again

It's not terrible difficult. Work 7-4 weekdays, school 5-(9)10 M-T-W-T. I take all night classes and about 12 credits a semster (plus summer classes). Well I took it to my rigger and he did it for me without a problem. Only one set of lines was messed up. I did learn a good way to check the lines :). He was willing to do it for free but I made sure he got what he deserve. When I said not enough room I ment that it looked real hard to feed the slinks though the lines again. So I just recieved my soft links today (slinks from PD). I installed them but in the instructions it says to pass them through the lines twice but it doesn't seem like there is enough room to pass it through it again, what do I do?(canopies a safire with vectran lines). Also on one riser the lines might have gotten out of order (the order of which they sit next to each other) is that a big deal and if is so how can I check.
