    Implants

If I can touch them, they are real "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  2. An interesting concept. What if they have tentacles or are just green blobs of jelly? (Hypothetical, we don;t expect any of these at our event). I'm pretty sure they need to sit still and quagulate "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  3. I just re-read the posts on the "where has Micheal Moore Lied" thread. I'm sensing, what's the technical term, "Flip-Floppery?" Sense what you like. I have not seen a single Moore movie. I sense that a lot of the whiners haven't actually seen his movies either, since when challenged they had a very hard time coming up with actual examples of Moore's "lies". I'm also sensing that you haven't seen "Micheal Moore Hates America" either. Correct. I have no intention of seeing any of Moore's movies, or any movies about him. Well, I'm glad that this has been established. To get you up to speed "Micheal Moore Hates America" is a guy buy the name of Micheal Wilson going around and re-interviewing the people from previous MM movies and setting the record straight. When watching this movie back to back with other movies such as "F 9/11" and seeing how badly the truth has been twisted. I strongly suggest watching these movies before posting stuff like... Moore is a liar and a manipulator and if you have seen the movies you would know that. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 6. I'm thinking someone hasn't seen the movie this thread was named after "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  7. I watched pirated versions while over seas "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  8. Just another example of why I hate judges. I don't agree with the ladies job choice, but that doesn't mean she deserves what happened. When a judge botches up a ruling this badly, what recourse does a person have that doesn't involve thousands of dollars? "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 9. Seriously, go rent "Micheal More Hates America". Watch that after anything produced by him and you might actualy come out with something close to "Fair and Balanced". There is no such thing as "Miss Right." Only "Miss psychotic in all the same ways you are." And then you hope she feels the same way "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 11. My ex will get a piece of my retirement when I finally hang it up also. I understand the argument that a military spouse gives up her life to support her husband. She is unable to make a carreer for herself because of constant changes of duty station and all that. However,my ex wife had me standing on the carpet in front of my commanding officer because of her financial stupidity, spent thousands on drugs, the list goes on. The legal system is broken now. All this no fault crap is designed to punish the bread winner. All you can do now is hope Darwin gives you a hand. The only reason my Ex is still alive is because she uses my kids to get a paycheck. Its a shame because my kids don't deserve the life they are stuck with right now. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 12. To late, Us Alaskans already have the bomb "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  13. They have a special man dress they put on that has never been worn and is kept perfectly clean before they go out just in case they go before Alah (a cultural hint that you know this guy is a bad guy) They also used to shave their beards, but a few guys came back from the dead and said they didn't have to any more (it was a dead give away they were on a suicide mission) The average Afgani isn't that well fed either. Best wishes to your son and tell him to keep up the good work. "No man ever won a war dying for his country, he wins wars by making the other poor bastard die for his." Gen. 14. Dirka Dirka, PORN!!!!!! Dirka, kill americans for their evil influence!!!! Jihad!!!! "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  15. to quote the constitution: [Amendment II] “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." I'm not an english major, but I do understand english. A lot of anti-gun guys out there will spill out all kinds of stuff about relevence, but it doesn't change what the constitution says in plain english that even I can understand. I still think this argument is the product of a bunch of bored lawyers. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 16. I voted no. As sad as it is, with home prices being completely unreasonable right now the market needs to adjust to make it possible to actually buy a home in the future. 17. Words with the backing of the UCMJ. Not once the two years is up. Ok. Pointless, but ok. Well, no actually, not pointless at all - unless you've shifted your goal posts again. You've said that non-combat personnel ie. physicists and engineers can basically do their civvy jobs as their service as long as they take an oath and do it for a military paycheck. The kind of people we were talking about (Manhatten project workers were one example) know damn well they would never be called on to go into harms, oath or not. So again, the oath is just words, and once they actually become citizens, words that are no longer enforced. I still think you are missing the point. Yes, when the 2 years are up, you are free to go. But even though he no longer falls under the UCMJ, the man in quetion was still willing to give up his rights for 2 years for the betterment of society. We are not talking about what he is acountable for, but what he has proven himself willing to do. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 18. Yea, not happy with the justice sytem right now. Plus, I think I dropped my sence of humor somewhere over in the bonfire. I'll go see if I can find it
  19. You can look at studies untill you are blue in the face. It doesn't change the fact that in the "Gun free" zone of Virgina Tech a lot of people died and in the Trolley Square mall in Utah the shooter was stoped short by a gun packin' good guy. Criminals will always beable to get access to guns and I will always want to be able to defend my self now rather than wait hours for a cop to show up. I don't think any study will be able to change my mind, I don't need a study to know that wolves eat sheep, not other wolves. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 20. The only problem with religion is that it is taught by people. As long as there are people, there will be religion. Don't worry though, we will kill ourselves soon enough. 21. I have to agree with the joke in this case. Judges are just lawyers who think they can use there position to be above the law. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  22. If you really want to know what I am smoking, try a Puff I can understand brand loyalty, but I have gone cross county several times on a honda and have over 60,000 miles on my yamaha. For comfort fit and finish, I really like my buddies BMW (to bad it is as ugly as sin). The only people who I know that are happy with thier harleys have spent over $18,000 on thier bike and then put another $10,000 in after market parts and custom paint jobs. Sorry, but I also like to skydive. At least with every other bike out thier a person can be happy with it $10,000 out of the box and stock. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 23. There are a lotof muslims speaking out. The problem is that its hard to hear them amidst all the news articles about the attacks and body counts. I wonder what it would do for the morale of the extremists if there actions were ignored in the press for a while and all the positive news coming from the middle east were on the front page for a while "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  24. Down with Harley!!!! If you really want a Harley, save your self a few bucks and buy a honda cruiser with a few hundred thousand miles on it and poke a bunch of holes in the muffler. You will get hte same quality and sound. If you want chrome, buy a custom. For the same price as a harley you can get a well built high quality bike. If you are stuck on buying american, look into Polaris Victory. Slowly back away from the Harley and no one will get hurt "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  25. I don't go looking for things like this, it just pops up. I have seen the results of these people first hand. After serving in Iraq and Afghanistan I watch the news closely. People who go there and serve want to know that their time and effort were not wasted. You can't try them in a normal court of law. They need to be held untill the end of the war and be sent to a military tribunal for war crimes or crimes against humanity. And no matter what you call them, hold them and continue to get information to help aid the war. We are in it so we need to be in it all the way. If we never got involved it would be a diffrent story. Walk right side road....safe. Walk left side road....safe. Walk middle of road and sooner or later... squish!!!! Just like grape "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
