  1. Well, i suppose we can let them all go as long as they promise not to kill anyone. It doens't matter how much they think we Americans need a good killin' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaX7DZy7Y78 Watch above before you answer "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 2. I just want to say that if anyone post's nude pictures of me I will counter with nudes of them... Please forward nude pictures of your self to..... P.S. Who had that camera last night? 3. That is a good point, but dispite all of the cease fires and peace treaties, Hamas and Fatah keep launching rockets into Isreal. Syria and Iran are still in a proxy war thru small groups that they can say have no national ties. The only reason Isreal has not nuked them yet is because we asked them "ta not too". 4. Once again, they are not Americans. They were apprehended commiting acts of war. And as stated in the Geneva convention we are allowed to hold them untill the end of the conflict, for obvious reasons. The military court system and the Civilian court system are two seperate courts of law. That is how millitary guys get slammed twice for the same offense And if you have a list of names and offenses, please share. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 5. Back to the original topic, dispite all the other stuff going on I think it is safe to say that Muslim extremeists are growing at a higher rate than "Timothy Mcvay's" or the IRA. After watching the special the most honest thing I heard was that terroism is being sold to the new young and impressionable muslims as "Bringing the Muslim's back to their glory days." The only thing is, if you look at the time line, they have been killing each other and anyone else they percieved as a threat ever since Muhamed came on the scene in the 6th century. Yes, christianity has had it's low points. Every where the Spanish Conquisators have gone to establish chritianity has turned to shit. Look at Cuba, all of south and central america, the Philipines and a slew of other countries. My Point is we learned. We separated the church and state and we grew. When is the Middle East going to do the same? Don't say when we pull out because the minute we do there will be an all out attack on Isreal and all of the middle east will fall to sharia law. If you don't thnk so then crawl out from under your rock and re-read Iran's policy. We have caught them red handed funneling arms and money to every terrorist group in the middle east in a bid to take over that area. Google it. I was hoping when I started the thread that people would try to identify todays problems and see what kind of solutions that could be brought. Instead we are debating the crusades from over 500 years ago. We may be killing muslims, but not in the name of god. The end stated goal was peace and stability. If you don't understand the diffrence, then I don't know what to say "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 6. I suppose having bomb making materials, shooting at americans, having phone conversations with Osama Bin Laden are not good enough evidence. We should let them go. These are only some of the activities that landed them there. Of course they are claiming to be inocent. They can't kill americans while locked up "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." 7. Fox news is having a special tonight at 9PM eastern time. I know that it is "Fox News" and a lot of people may not consider them a credible news source, but I think this special will actually spell out a lot of problems the middle east is having. I really want to know why more Muslims are not speaking out against the extremists. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 8. By your own reference, a lot more than 200,000 have died under Saddam. Go through the seperate events and start adding the numbers. And that is only what we can account for. The truth is we will never know how many people died under his rule. While stationed in Iraq I lived in the remains of the Mukhabarat secret police right underneith Sadr City. I got quite a history lesson while living there (why do they need a wood chipper when there are no trees around?) You should read this: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1571/is_11_19/ai_101941824/pg_1 If you ask me, they might even be a little better off. And for the record, your body count web site does show how many have died since we moved in, but most if it is Muslim on Muslim Killings. Their "Military actions" include insurgents rounding up people and excecuting them. My point is they have a choice now. If they chose to stop, they could. Our choice is to continue to fight, or leave the orphans to them selves. What would you do? "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 10. In my (all be it limited) dating experience, all women are psycho. The trick is to find a woman who's psychosis offsets your own "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 11. By all means look up the number of mosques and markets blown up under Sadaam...yup.. we turned that around for them didnt we...in the sence that now there is a source and a will to do these atrocities on a daily b asis that did not used to be there. The attrocities have always been there. Just because we didn't see it in the news, that doesn't mean 2 million people didn't disappear in the middle of the night under Saddam. Have you seen the pictures of the kurdish children that had nerve gas dropped on them? The only diffrence now is they CHOSE to live in hell. They have the freedom to do what they want for once and they use it to kill each other off. They don't have Saddam to scare them into submission anymore and this is how they chose to act. Hopefully they will get the hang of this freedom thing soon so we can all go home "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 12. Send them to Afghanistan anyway. At some point in time most terrorists have also killed Muslims. It just seems to be their way. Let them face Sharia law. If a terrorist wants sympathy from me, he can look between shit and syphilis in the dictionary. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 13. The problem is we can't put the Gitmo prisoners thru the US legal system. Our legal system was designed for US citizens who broke US laws. Do you really want to let these people go because they were not read their miranda rights? Right now I do like the current idea of building and staffing a prison in Afghanistan and shipping all of the prisoners over there. I know that President Karzia will have the intestinal fortituded to do with these people what needs to be done and it will spare the bleeding heart librals from crying about what barbarians our goverment is. 14. I would have to say Pro-Choice. That is not pro-abortion. In the imortal words of Wanda Sykes, "Girls don't sit around asking, what do you want to do tinight? I don't know, lets go get an abortion." I think all other options should be considered before an abotion. You shouldn't have one just because you don't want to have a child. However, in cases of rape, incest, severe birth defects, or the mothers life is in danger, then yes, you should have a choice. Because of the psycho nut job extreme right wing "You are committing murder with every abortion" people who are out there and only see in black or white, I have to be pro-choice. Once they get their teeth in, you won't be able to get them to let go. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 15. Just because they are not in Iraq or Afghanistan doesn't mean they are not muslim. I would recheck your list. The Tamil Tigers jump our for starters The rest look like communist narco-terrorist groups. Not quite sure about the point your trying to make unless your are comparing muslim exremists to narco-terrorists. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 16. The funny part is most of the enemy is gay any way. Have any of you been over there? Women are for breeding and boys are for fun. Sense I am not allowed to grow a beard I was looked at like a bitch. While traveling around the UAE I never went into a bathroom alone for fear of getting my balloon knot streched out. This idea is full of flaws from the start. Wouldn't even work aginst the french. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 17. if someone blows up things because he thinks its the right teaching of Islam then its very relevant (same goes for extreme christian groups who blow up clinics because God told them too). like anything else, you need to look at the root cause. O The big diffrence is the rest of the christian community does not sit back in "silent acceptance" The muslim culture still does. If I started a new christian based religous group based on the bloodiest parts of the bible and spread violence the rest of the U.S. would come down on me like a ton of bricks. You don't see that in the middle east. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." 18. I have to disagree. For this I will let history be my teacher. Way back in the day the muslim world was the center of the universe back in the second century under Nebercanezer (spelled badly). Where it all went bad was when shortly after that there was a huge crack down on religious philosiphers. Only 2 mainstreems forms of the muslim religion servived (sunni and Shia) strictly controlled by thier religious based law (I forgot what it was called off the top of my head). After that, muslims as a culture have been stagnant and have only grown as a culture when they allow new ideas in from the west. On the flip side, we had the Spanish inquasition. When we sepatated church from state we were allowed to question and grow. What was so significant about the book "The Three Muskateers"? It was the first time a religous figure was portraiyed as a villian in a book. This is a cross roads for the muslim community. This is thier equivalent to our 15th century. At looking at our past I would venture to say that thier will be heavy caualties untill there is a serious re-reading of the Quran. When they start to open thier minds and question again then there will be piece again Untill we find something else to kill each other over "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 19. I forgot to add "or face extiction" "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  20. Not to mention that the majority (the silent majority mind you) of the Islamic world which does not do this kind of stuff, by its inaction, perpetuates and it could be argued, therefore endorses the terrorism. I have to agree. Silence is a positive response. Where was Saudi Arabia after the WTC was hit? The muslim community sends death threats to anyone who speaks out. It's thier problem and they have to fix it. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." 21. Well ya got me there, no bombs at malls, although I believe some "Christians" like Eric Rudolph, have, in fact, bombed people. And of course, Fred Phelps is also a "Christian". Are you absolutely certain you wanna continue this line of reasoning? The terrorists are simply terrorists. Being Muslim has nothing to do with them also having some other rather fucked up points of view. Sure I would like to continue my line of reasoning. Terroism is taught. Has the NRA taught people to hate? Terroists are raised to believe that they get 72 virgins at Alah's most reviered spot in heaven if they sacrifice them selves. The NRA won't promise you a god damn thing unless you donate or pay dues. No priest has promised me 72 virgins for blowing myself up in Syria yet. And for the record Eric Rudolph and Fred Phelps were a couple of loony tunes (no offense ment to the cartoons). Psycotic episodes are not taught. 22. lets be honest for a second. They are muslims that were trying to kill anyone hey could (muslims and non-muslims alike) to further thier extremist views. It's been shown that the reason they are getting away with it is because the rest of the muslim community stays silent out of fear. Anyone who stands up faces death threats. unfortunatly we can't fix it. The muslim communty has to stand up and chose to change it's self. Untill it does, all we can do is point a finger and say "why are you so fucked up?" I havnen't seen any christians strap a bomb to them selves lately and take out a mall. US born terrorists were not taught to hate, they were just born with an extra chromasome "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 23. I'm indiffrent. I don't care where you came from as long as you are a good president. On another note, don't blame me, I voted for the other guy. 24. My first guns were to protect me from the bears while growing up in Alaska fishing in the salmon streams. 25. Some things that I have learned along the way that I still believe to be true: 1. Bush is too "simple" to know how to tell a lie. If he says something, chances are he believes it. I'm not saying it's true, just that he believes it. 2. The 4th amendment was our guarantee that if our geverment ever sucked that bad, we could start new. 3. All pieces and parts used to make WMD's also have peacefull dual uses. Yep, pretty much sums it up "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying.
