What kind of camp are you looking for? Which discipline, how much flight time, and how many days are you wanting to spend at a tunnel? There are several coaches that run camps throughout the year at every tunnel or you can just get a personalized camp just about anywhere. ParacleteXP

  7. Awesome time while you were here! Thanks for the beer and have a great time out west. ParacleteXP
  8. By pull position I mean hand on ripcord and other above head. We have them hold the position and forward-backward, turn, and slide. It really builds their confidence. Many students on AFF do perfect practice pulls and then tend to roll over at pull time. ParacleteXP
  9. Work on body position and run through the dive flow of your next level. We've had great success with putting people in pull position and have them fly around the tunnel in that position. There seems to be alot of stability issues around pull time so we build confidence around that. I suggest that you get coaching. ParacleteXP

  13. Team Aeon is here training in preparation for the World Challenge in Bedford. Ellie McCoy, Gary Beyer, Paul Gatling, and Johnny Eagle filling in for Emma Beyer have been tearing it up all weekend and look primed for the meet. ParacleteXP
  14. Black Cat Russian 4-way team is here training at XP. The team is gearing up for the Shamrock Showdown and will be jumping at Raeford Parachute Center out of Paraclete XP's Pilatus Porter during the day and training in the tunnel at night. They look sharp and are focused on their run on Excalibur. Video and stills to follow. ParacleteXP
  15. Team Babylon just completed a week of training at the XP tunnel. The team is preparing for the World Parachuting Championships in La Salmagne Maubeuge France in August. The team loved the tunnels size and power and will return in November of this year to run the first of many Freefly Skills Camps at XP. Stephane, Fred, Vincent, and Cathy are high energy professional skydivers that can take you to the next level. The team is the two time defending world champion and the odds on favorite to successfully defend their title. Look for more info on their camps soon at www.paracletexp.com ParacleteXP
  16. the A we use is typically out of a D or 11 which it turns into a completely b-slot A that is mirrored. The K has the OC on the front and the tail on the back with the point and IC in the cat, especially if block 15 follows. The curvy G (good rapper name BTW) is the same in the front but has the tail sidebodying the OC and the IC on the back of the tail, typical out of standard K or block 2. With regards to the round Q we guarantee the person with one grip so that whoever has both grips gets them and goes. ParacleteXP
  17. We have several but more options require more training. A,C,G,K, and Q all have options. We monitor "exotic" randoms and see if B/L's or slow keys happen around them and then weigh out their worth. Sometimes we throw them away once we reach our lockdown stage. ParacleteXP
  18. Day two is half way over and the team built a 20 way head down record formation in the XP monster. Right after the completed record several more records were set. An all female head down indoor record, an all female sitfly record, and an under 16 kid's world record. Kayla Tunucci from Team Future was on all three of the latter records. We're working on posting pics and videos. ParacleteXP
  19. The first day of the Paraclete XP Go Big Challenge just wrapped up. The goal of this event is to push the limits of vertical sequential flying. Paraclete XP invited the worlds top VFS flyers to come and build a world record static head down formation in our monster tunnel. The groups started with 4 way sequential and finished the day with the largest indoor formation to date. The group will start tomorrow with more sequential and work towards an indoor head down world record. Paraclete XP owners Tim and Colleen D'Annunzio have completely sponsored this event to make sure that the athletes can focus on getting a connected performance. Photos and more information on the event will follow tomorrow. ParacleteXP
  20. I dont think skydiving needs to be "saved". However, after just watching Team Future and the Paraclete XP kids fly together in the tunnel it definitely shines a refreshing light on bodyflight. We give First Time Flyers a booklet with their flight certificate that explains what they can do next, a set of transitions to work on, information on the International Bodyflight Association, and a large section about USPA and skydiving. This gives each customer a physical product to take away so that we're just not another guy talking. While it may never truly get people into skydiving we are at least spreading information and marrying tunneling and skydiving. We'll keep you posted on our success rate. ParacleteXP
  21. As we collect information time will tell if tunneling and skydiving marry each other and stay married. I think ultimately they will compliment each other well. We give FTF's a handout that includes a description and plug of USPA.
