Beautiful baby. See you soon. Enjoy the DR ParacleteXP -
We had a great weekend at the Ranch. Big thanks to the Ranch staff and everyone who participated in the camp. Deliverance had a steep learning curve and were schmicking their exits by the end of the weekend. XP coaches will be at the Ranch several weekends this summer so check the Ranch website for upcoming events. ParacleteXP

Jerry Bird will always have respect....he earned it. Some of my most memorable jumps were when Jerry was the LO. He is the ultimate Hall of Famer. ParacleteXP

The tunnel can absolutely help with taking grips. This is a common problem for beginning belly flyers. Next time start taking grips when you are slightly low so that you reach up for the grips. Do your best to not get frustrated, skydiving is an infinite learning process and requires diligent practice. ParacleteXP

Pros & Cons of M.A.R.D (Was: Skyhook Activation Stories)
kirkverner replied to eric.fradet's topic in Gear and Rigging
A very experienced jumper using a skyhook had a malfunction on a Velocity that had him spinning into line twists while the canopy was spinning. The resulting cutaway with a skyhook had him entangled in the freebag and bridle, he sorted it out but was nearly choked out by the reserve risers caught under his chin. It produced some nasty rash. Severe spinning around your Y axis while spinning violently doesn't seem to be covered on the videos that I have seen. ParacleteXP -
you could be right. It was 88 when I was doing it. ParacleteXP

Tic to Tag. 3 way star with one person leg locked on the outside. You had to turn the leg lock 180 while the half star cut it off. ParacleteXP

Sounds like it was a great comp. Any chance to see some video? ParacleteXP

You need more legs out. It sounds like you're bracketing. At first you drove forward with too much leg and to fix that you bent your legs more. You always want balance, equal push from the upper and lower body. Go back to the tunnel and get some coaching, it wont take you long to fix this problem. ParacleteXP
