I guess it depends on who you ask. Part of my unit is in the Obama section of that video, and not because they wanted to be.

GW is not as popular, possibly true. He is still thought of 100 times higher than Obama by the average Marine.

I know for 100% fact that the majority of Marines in NC for the video were forced to be there. That is why they are "tepid". I'm not saying who is right or wrong, smart or dumb. As a Marine, I can tell you that Bush was, by far, more popular with the Marines. "Don't worry. Obama will fix it" is a common punch-line around here. The uniforms are green because of the time of year, not because they are more formal.

I'm glad somebody posted their multicam Mirage. Mine is still hidden in the garage. If the Mrs finds out I bought a new rig I'll be killed. Joe at SKD Tactical hooked it up. It's amazing, and our little secret.

My Multi-cam G4 just arrived, and it is sweeeet. I need to get some pics asap.

I took my 2 sons to the Perris tunnel earlier this year. One of them loved it and flew amazingly well. The younger (8) said he couldn't breathe because of the wind in his face. I was hoping someone had a recommendation that would help. They are coming back out to CA (summer break/visitation) and I want to take them back to the tunnel.

If the search function works, this question has been posted several times and in tremendous detail. Right now the search doesn't work (for me at least), so I have been waiting to ask anything, so as to avoid the "use the search" or "check the top right corner" jabs. I saw it has been addressed in the "bugs and errors" section, so I'm sure it will be resolved soon. What might help is check the "Gear Review" section on individual pieces. The people leaving reviews range from new guys like us to jumpers with thousands of jumps, and they tell it like it is.

Things aren't going well At least Michigan lost I was rooting for the "right coast USC" earlier, for no other reason than I love their name.

Aerodyne gives 30% for their containers and canopies. I don't know of any other canopy manufacturer that offering discounts. I still can't get over the Wings deal. Now I just need to get a deal on some canopies and I'm set.

I am in the process of contacting container manufacturers about military discount too. So far Aerodyne has replied and they offer discounts for active military. I'm going to call Mirage and Wings tomorrow. Javelin doesn't have a discount, but their rep gave me a dealer contact that he says may be able to help.

Santa paid for my AFF class! I actually did AFF1 10 years ago, but family issues (needing the $$$ to feed them) stopped me. It's all good now and I will be scheduling my first jump tomorrow.
