  1. I would like to know if he is correct based off of factual statistics. If so he is frankly saying what is actually going on.
  2. You sure you got that news report right, your last one was a lie.
  3. Billions of dollars and Massive intrusion into our lives and they still can't do their jobs.
  4. It's also fake as hell or purposly searched over to find fruitcakes for entertainment value. A proper pepper would never reveal himself to the public. I know an Air Force colonel and a state politician that prepare for natural disaster or civil unrest like furgeson. Neither go to church or strongly believe in religion.
  5. Just like usual you are wrong. Let me make it clear to you now. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/11/24/darren-wilson-injury-photos_n_6216208.html Although its not Rhonda Rousey level of injury it is evidence to prove the story along with the gun powder residue and the shot inside the car.
  6. Bullshit. This administration had been sicking them left and right. Look at the Furgeson shooting. There was a shot inside the car over a fight for the officers weapon, a cop with injuries to the face, a clear case and they got investigated. Not at all saying the 35 on the list are angels, but to measure the level of our troubles against the willingness to investigate to appease the liberal anti-cop masses is a joke.
  7. Well you will never have zero thats just an unobtainable dream. No one here is calling 1 or more ok, but 35 of about 18,000 is not the end of the world like this never ending thread reads.
  8. Ok 35 law enforcement agencies are under investigation out of over 17,985 hell that sounds better.
  9. Only on your world is+- 0.194% bad.
  10. Knowing that there are about 17,985 police and sheriffs departments in the US that list looks pretty good on a percentage basis.
  11. It's all relevant you posted it, and said things have not changed, i asked when did that recently happen. So....
  12. Now that this has been officially classified as terrorism I bet he is having a fucking terrible week. I am still perplexed as to how this is terrorism and ft hood was different but in both cases we have radicalized Muslims who were in contact with terrorist organizations and went on a shooting spree.
  13. https://mises.org/blog/mistake-only-comparing-us-murder-rates-developed-countries Flawed way to cherry pick who you are compared to. This addresses that.
  14. http://abcnews.go.com/US/exclusive-undercover-dhs-tests-find-widespread-security-failures/story?id=31434881 ***According to officials briefed on the results of a recent Homeland Security Inspector General’s report, TSA agents failed 67 out of 70 tests, with Red Team members repeatedly able to get potential weapons through checkpoints.
  15. It's amazing they got negative press for trying to kill policemen and election officials? Goes to show how little the cops have changed in 70 years. "At about 3 p.m., Tom Gillespie, an African-American voter, was told by a Sheriff's deputy, "'Nigger, you can't vote here today!!'". Despite being beaten, Gillespie persisted; the enraged deputy shot him." So when recently did a cop beat and shoot a black man for trying to vote?
  16. "Gun free zones" should be just that, not just on the honor system. If one does not want passive security (allowing those that choose to carry), they must provide active security in the form of armed guards and searches before entering. TSA.......LMFAO!
  17. Because of radical people (hidden sleeper cells) that could take advantage of the programs to comit murder. These motherfuckers were on Facebook and the alphabet soups let them get under the radar.
  18. I already schooled you on why using the UK police shooting numbers is fucking ignorant because only 5% of them carry guns. Look if you want to honestly argue something at least make a stance first.
  19. Also an event where people die, or felt like they did, or wish they had!
  20. Another reason the numbers are different is how the U.S. FBI counts them and the UK's home office counts them. http://rboatright.blogspot.com/2013/03/comparing-england-or-uk-murder-rates.html
  21. I did live in the US for 18years, so feel I have at least a general understanding. There is no single solution, but I assure you that doing nothing is not the solution Who said do nothing? Sure as hell wasn't me, and I have not seen a single person here say it. And for you to say it well let's just give you the title of captain obvious.
  22. That is one way to view that infographic, the attitude towards cops around here and the posters history suggest it was posted otherwise. Another discussion if he implied it that way on why we can never bridge that gap to the UK's stats can be made but I wont as it is a waste of time as the previous threads about mass shooting have came to the same result trolling and name calling. You are not from the US but I call on others here to actually post a resonable solution that might help curb this.
  23. Lets address the infographic and not get off on some geography lesson. His infographic stated there were 55 fatal police shootings in England and Wales over the last 24 years, and there were 59 fatal police shootings in the first 24 days of 2015 in the US. I stated this infographic lacks vital information that would show the reader why, and not just mislead them to think the reason was entirely based on bad cops. Cops carrying guns The first reason would be that only 5% of cops in the UK(besides Northern Ireland) are authorized to carry guns. If there are no cops with guns then NO SHIT there will be less people shot. But lets dive deeper into why they do not carry guns. Gun ownership In the UK since neither the police nor the victims are likely to be armed, the criminals don't really need guns so it isn't worth risking the very harsh punishments for getting caught illegally carrying one - in the UK, you get a minimum 5 years custodial sentence and a maximum of life. In the US almost all cops are armed to meet the threat that is present of anyone having a gun from a kid all the way to an elderly person. In the us gun ownership runs over 75 per 100 persons, and in the UK about 5-10, and is most likely schedule 1 type shot guns, muzzle loaders, etc. So there again if you have 5-10 bees in a room you are less likely to get stung than if there are 75+ bees. Mental health Every person in the U.K. has some form of health coverage. (This in itself, even before dissecting mental health services, is of course distinctive and cannot be stressed enough.) Their definition of health coverage, more to the point, has included mental health. So yayy the ACA lets see if we can close the gap. There are other reasons why one would be more likely to be shot by a US cop than in the UK which is not related to the cop themselves but I know I am wasting my time already so others can chip in about the culture, gangs, drugs, poverty, racism etc that set up these shootings.
  24. A perfect response would be dismissed here anyways but when I get home I will show you everything I can find that points out the reasons why the gun Violence is different between the two regions and why you can't compare the same statistics. I would also like to point out that I am the only one here to suggest strict mental health and background checks in this entire thread so before you think I'm blindly pro gun and refuse changes keep that in mind.
