  1. I alread ready did but I will again. Your info graphic shows a factually correct statistic but misleads the reader as to the reasons why because it leave out gun ownership numbers, crime, culture, demographics etc, etc. that describes why those numbers are so lopsided. It's not apples to apples comparison at all! You should know all to well about letting out half truths to mislead readers Mr. South side.
  2. Do your own homework if you want to make a point. Just pointing out that your shit infographic is flawed to the point only idiots will agree with it. It shows a lopsided data point without all the details to show why it is reasonably so. Remember you guys bashing rush for showing a misleading statistic that doesn't include all the details that actually make it look one way when if you add all the details you see the real picture. Well pot meet kettle.
  3. Criminals or those preparing for a mass murder spree really care about following weapons transfer laws.
  4. Find me an infographic with the number of guns, poverty, and other important measures that make your first infographic so lopsided.
  5. Fail meaning not pass your evaluation. I have taken it as well as the m-pulse and oral exam. Basically anyone wanting to own a gun has to have this psychological exam first. It's not an end all as sane people have fits of rage too, but I'm just proposing a good mental health test. There may be other tests better fitted, but it is the one most used to find people at risk for mental issues in a pre employment position.
  6. I propose this. Everyone owning a gun must take the MMPI2 test. Test will be paid for by the government. Once passed with an extensive background check you are issued a firearms purchase card. All law enforcement, prison, and courts record systems must be linked. When you go to buy a new firearm later your card is scanned, the system runs a check for NEW activity and you are good to go. If you fail the mmpi2 you must wait 5 years to retest. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minnesota_Multiphasic_Personality_Inventory
  7. There were laws against 2-3 things they did from your post. How would you stop a person bound to comit mass murder from doing that exact same thing again?
  8. Yea FBI or whoever it was said they have been on the radar before, but "we can't arrest anyone for liking someone on Facebook" they said.
  9. Wanna talk about the female pledging allegiance to ISIS. Workplace violence or terrorism? and if it's terrorism how was ft hood not socially called the same thing?
  10. Once again you cant grasp the fucking concept that we are NOT talking about the legal verbiage as a court case, but the social term for what happened.!!
  11. Well please tell us how you would like it enforced. You are the one making the claim it isnt being done so whats your suggestion.
  12. The only time it is found out is after a shooting, what do you suggest periodic un announced in home weapons inspections of all homes to check that any weapons in the home of Americans is registered under their name?
  13. Yes I would call that domestic terrorism. He used violence in a manner which appeared to be intended to intimidate or coerce a civilian population; to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; and to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping
  14. Has anyone referenced this here? Was I participating in that thread? Give me a few I will review it and get back with my answer I have not followed that shooting much.
  15. It's clear you cannot depart from using your very narrow technical argument to prove you are right. If you can't see that this was an act of terrorism and the charges are what they are because it was the only option irrespective of what happened then fine. If you are sticking to your guns in attempt to win an argument then just say it. I would much rather know your being hard headed than the other choice.
  16. I applied no religion in my definition of what he did. Use the FBI definition "Domestic terrorism" means activities with the following three characteristics: Shooting people-Check Stated his attack on US military service members was "an attempt to protect taliban leaders in Afghanistan from American troops."-Check -Check Add to that self admitted terrorism with credible links to a terrorist leader and emails. I am not at all arguing the military's charges I have always understood WHY they did not charge him with terrorism. My intent was to convey the general term of what occured which clearly was terrorism.
  17. All we can do is trust them again with another study and see where it goes.
  18. http://smartgunlaws.org/straw-purchases-policy-summary/ The law and penalty is already there for this crime. Just because its not a mandatory 10 I dont see anyone CURRENTLY going aww fuck it I will take 1,2,3 years for this if caught, but suddenly say NO way if its a mandatory 10 years. Who willingly takes a chance on something 1-10 but will whole heartedly stop if its a mandatory 10. If thats the case there would never be any 3 strike offenders they would stop before the last mandatory harsh sentence.
  19. The same way it's done in the scientific community. Have the methodology and results and conclusions peer reviewed by civilians with no chips in the game and then published openly. There have been plenty of cases of scientific articles being found to be either flawed, biased or outright faked with this method. How well is that working for the current global warming studies. There is no clear and non biased data that both sides agree on so that doesn't seem like a cut and dry thing.
  20. How do you prevent biased data? As an example of gathering info to support your interest the airforce wanted the A-10's to be killed off and the funding to go to their bloated F-35 program so what did they do they stopped using them for close air support missions and then tried to fool lawmakers into saying the F-16/F-15 was better equipped for CASM by using the data that there were more sorties flown for CAS by f-16/f-15 than the A-10. Everyone knows the A-10 is king of CAS. This was eventually found out and the Air force leaders BLASTED for trying to pull this stunt and POTUS pulled the A-10 off the chopping block for a few more years. The last time they tried this they blamed the A-10 for more blue on blue and civilian casualties than any other military plane and it was found out they lied again and F-18 B-52 and F-14 had more cases of fratricide than it did.
  21. I may be wrong but I am pretty sure people from all sides have been saying this all along. Gun owners are just "gunshy" about how ridiculous the level of ineffective over regulation would be if the process was just turned over to some of the anti gun fanatics are not out there cheering for more mass murders. If anything most of us sit there and scream at the screen to the idots giving the legal responsible owners a bad name.
  22. We cant keep doing this over two threads. My response to that in the other thread
  23. Ask him to admit besides what they HAD to charge him with does he believe it was terrorism. If he says no then my argument is still valid he believes or wants to still argue it wasnt.
