The DEA holding on to this dying notion that weed is the devil reminds me of some of the republican temper tantrums. Is obvious we as a nation have matured and evolved enough to accept that weed has its benifits, would be a great tax source, and is not half as bad as all the other junk they let us consume legally.

There has to be a cause correct? Like I said before there is a reason that 13% of a population subgroup is doing something 52% more than the rest. Find the issue and focus on finding ways to change it, fund it, evaluate the effort, and implement ways to make sure it does not go back. It could be education, economic, family, social, culture, etc.

Because the FBI and BJS did not offer up that data that I could find. It only broke down a robberies violent crimes into rapes, assaults etc.

Your attitude suggests that you either did not think out what a violent crime really is considered, or you are trying to stick with the anti gun argument that well they were not killed they were just "stabbed, shot, raped, beaten, etc" so a gun still is not needed. There is a low chance of homicide during a robbery but 90,000 get beaten shot, stabbed, and raped, why are you trying to diminish that fact?

About 90,000 people are a victim of violent crime during a robbery per year. Is that insignificant to you?

Police correctly and legally do not always use lights even when going to a justifiable emergency as an initial officer or as a backup unit. I will describe this in greater detail in a bit as I don't have time at the moment. What also gets me is when people complain about officers being out of their jurisdiction in their unit. There are many many reasons to be out of your area but on official business. Court, radio shop, turning in confiscated plates to the DMV, police supply, fuel depot, etc.

People who have enough foresight to stand up against these laws even if it is currently legal are the ones that stand out in history when America finally realizes when they were wrong. The ones who can't usually blindly stand behind the laws and throw insults at the ones doing it, and this goes for many instances just go back and look at the civil rights movement.

Are you saying that because something is a law it has been completely thought out and right in all areas? I can think of dozens and dozens of laws that were on the books and followed for decades that when looking back was pure evil and wrong, but common practice in its day.

It's not called "infanticide" because it isn't. Pure and simple. A fetus is not an infant. Nor is an embryo. Those three stages of human development each have separate definitions. Neither the embryo nor the fetus is "self contained", they are fully dependent on the host (mother) for survival. Who is being purposefully naive? If a full term baby is born placed in a crib and not fed it will die. It is fully dependent on someone for half a dozen years......
