    covid-19

Of course, it's on him but good luck while you wait. Isn't it odd how so many fewer colds etc.. were passed around whilst we indoctrinated were wasting our time masking, standing apart, and scaring granny?

Nor do I but what chaps my ass most is it didn't need to be such an imposition on everyone. We should have ignored the squeals of the anti-vaxer, anti-masker, anti-social distance crowd long ago and required vaccination passports for entry to all public venues. We should have rewarded all who were doing what's was considered best and let the rest of them shop for groceries during special maskhole and anti-vaxer hours and stay out of the airports and off the trains and buses. That and let them go to tent city hospitals with Alan Alda in charge.
  3. Cocky? It's the opposite, Ken. I have had my share of quick changes. I get it and I'm fighting it.
  4. I do. I also think it's a misfortune of our times that he would so suffer. Maybe 2000 years ago in Caligula's Rome you would have had an easier talk. Maybe in a very unlikely to be more progressive culture in the US your task would be less complicated. Even today, if his mental health was sufficiently important to you, there are cultures you could move to that are vastly more progressive and understanding than in a lot of America. The thing is that it wouldn't, necessarily, be about today or where you are.
  5. It's not about winning or losing or money. It's about keeping active physically and mentally. It's about staying alive. I'm not quitting anything, be it the DZ, my airplane gigs, doing deals, etc. No way.
  6. That's so awesomely fair of you. Certainly, you'd start off by explaining your view of the "real world" and how you came to that particular version and then follow up by describing how others might have different versions of the "real world" and then discuss in detail how faith, friends and locality are determinative, not to mention FOX News. But that's not too much and can all be handled in the car on the way to Macy's.
  7. In all fairness, until Winsor's resurrection, Bill "I'll be Back" was the forum leader in unanswered questions. Unless they both have me blocked in which case, my sincere apologies to all.
  8. This truth is indisputable: if you don't keep moving the birds will get you. So, "roll 'em, roll "em, roll 'em, keep them doggies rollin' "

What a crock of shit. You're all like you predicted every twist and turn, published a number of mask and distancing studies, and made the several vaccines that saved us. You are the beneficiary of all of the science minded folks and cautious planners that made the hospital space you apparently didn't need available. And now your prescience guides you to announce it's time for mandates to end and for all to live their lives however they like. Well thanks for getting us here, Nostradamus.
  10. Then get a gig that offers a lot more flexibility and less forced locality. You made all of your own choices, as did I. We've spoken but you really do not know me. Those who do know I am always hustling; I always have and I always will. If you want your skewed POV to go away then make it happen. It's all on you.
  11. Irritating, annoying and repetitive in the face of better evidence does not a troll make. One night I woke up at 3:00AM in a two dollar dive hole of a room with a dip toilet on the second floor of the train station in Jaipur, India. On the platform below an army brass band was beating out what I can only guess was supposed onto be a coherent song. For the most part it made no sense and just made my head hurt. That didn't make them trolls, just true believers like Brent. Be nice. Unlike some, when Brent is gone we'll miss him.

Nope but I'm up to my 4th free vaccination. Still no tail or free 5G through my ears.
  13. You're up to 1000. Now you owe me. I'm pretty sure the current slate of religions haven't helped, either. We even have an SC Justice who belongs to a sect that believes her husband should be calling the shots and, apparently, another that believes his wife should be calling the shots. That's some weird gender shit, if you ask me. If men want to wear dresses there is no reason they should need to move to Myanmar. Where, by the way, I wore one for the 5 weeks I was there and quite liked it, too. U-Joe they called me and giggled every time. I can't claim to understand the need to be focused on correct pronouns when being addressed but I can respect the need. We all get just one shot at this, if it makes someone happy at no expense to anyone else just do it and you be happy, too. What's so hard about that?
  14. OK, Buddy! Who are you and what did you do with Brent? Brent, wherever you are just hang in there, we're on the way.
  15. For fucks sake, Brent, condemn her astonishing stupidity and concede she is no one who should be in congress. Why? As a a hero of mine once said when taking a rightful stand: it's all about integrity.
  16. Well, you concede to the reality of electric fields so we're making progress. I run 20kW of lithium batteries on my boat. There is no comparison. I'm also looking for a lithium motorcycle battery for the dinghy, but things are scare here. Just go lithium and don't look back. Seriously.
  17. It's not running away from the world, silly boy, it's running into the arms of the world. That's what travel is all about, now you know. The neato thing about this lifestyle is the constant interaction with folks from different countries, backgrounds, and lifestyles. All of the businesses I want to keep are intact and humming along helmed by a great manager; a she as it happens. To be sure, as much or more now than ever I am very involved in the real world. So, please, don't stay up over me or take time away from that Ohio gerrymandering.
  18. Well, he'll peg the weirdometer for a lot of folks, that's certain, but he's well qualified in the field and speaks a little Chinese, too, so that's good. To each his own but I wouldn't wear those shoes with that dress, no way.
  19. I'd rather roll bugs onto their backs than play your latest games.
  20. Okay, then, are you willing to develop that a bit? I was also around in 1972 as a 19 year old in East San Jose, California. I'm not sure what I wasn't insulated from, or if it was good for me, but at the time I'd have argued not much. No matter, you opened it up to your own formative personal experiences. So please, elucidate.
  21. Yes. Maybe I'm just overly over the top. I also would usually keep an extra airplane on hand when I was training, especially freefly, probably to compensate.
  22. You have more balls than a herd of elephants.
  23. Sure. From your perch, compared to you, everyone is stupid.
  24. Do we now? Maybe the Mod's will rule that your listing a few would constitute education and not personal attacks.
