  1. Winsor, in a few posts you claim a hope to have your .460 Weatherby, though it might be worthless. Do those come in double bore? Is that what you have? I thought they were bolt action rifles. I don't disagree that a double bore is more reliable for two shots but that's it. I say that as someone who hunted ducks for years with a single shot and took my share of doubles. I think a modern tactical semi-auto shot gun is reliable enough to be a better choice, seems to me.
  2. Absolutely. Ed Scott is right on this. From experience I can state affirmatively that being a DZO is no guarantee of excellence in any area. Beyond that there are plenty of DZO's or DZO spawn filling or ready to fill the ranks of RD's so I am certain the self serving will remain well represented at USPA Headquarters.

Epoch Times. You have to wonder, given that it's a ridiculable, far right, publication that is sure to be hammered here why offer them as a source?
  4. When I was concerned in Bear country I sported a semi auto with slugs. Wendy's reference cited Brenneke slugs. I have no need to hunt that way but I am going to get a box or two of their Magnum Crush rounds because I still do get into those areas from time to time. Of course, noise first and bear spray second.
  5. That was exactly my experience working in the Oregon Mountains years back. You'd hear them running off but rarely see them.
  6. If they make it illegal to shoot them unless they're already falling they'd have a great new sport and we'd kill two coco's with one nut.
  7. For sure Bear Spray isn't sufficient at an insurrection. I'll provide the cite after the 1/6 report comes out.
  8. And here I thought you had no sense of humor. Well played.

Officer, I'm from DZ.com, so if you think I was speeding the burden of proof is on you. Citation, please!

You've got me there. But let me get back home and I'm certain I can supply you with hours of entertaining video of free flyers doing exactly what they were told not to do.

Why 8K? He wasn't doing Crew. Seems to me it was going to be a Free Fly jump.

Does your modeling account for changes in vaccine efficacy over time? Are your projections based on national data only or will the results be more granular?

"It came from various other sources, some of them peer reviewed." "The reports/statements were published 8-12 months ago. What I find interesting is I can't find them now. That means they were either false and removed, or true and removed." Peer reviewed and evaporated in less than a year. Ja, oder es gab sie nie. In fairness, it's possible to see how Ken might conclude the peers were those who sit on a couch at Fox & Friends.

The current rule here is that when challenged you need to be able to back it up, usually with a citation. It could be FOX, MTG, your MOM or, in Brent's case, the Journal of Retired Thermos Users. (The article on how a Thermos knows whether to keep things hot or cold was fascinating, BTW) I chose the Urban Dictionary because it's ridiculous and I could get away with it. To your point: if you are asserting there are other people like me I think you should be ready to back that up with a citation.
  15. Not really. They didn't balk until forced to from document disclosures by non-clients. They're douches who are shocked, shocked that their client was lying. Correct me but I do not believe Trump is known to have ever stiffed his accountants.

You need to go to the Urban Dictionary. googaloo The gooey yellow gunk from the yolk in a cooked egg. I split open my egg - sunny side up- and all the googaloo rushed out like a lava flow. For the rest, why not credit the counter party with intentionally using the same wiggle room qualifiers you intentionally used?
  17. It's what it has to do with everything. Those are comorbidities, right? Many would claim they are self inflicted but the issue is that with single payer health insurance, something you now support, we all accept each others circumstance for the greater good. In some ways that's the socialist proposition, right? We need be cautious against taking it too far, absolutely, but there will be things on the margin that we just accept. For most liberals that would include our taxes paying your medical bills.
  18. Gotta go. My nieces Lacrosse finals are tonight.
  19. You still don't get it. Success is buying a box with potential and finding a LiFePO4 battery inside.
  20. That is exactly the issue some of us have with your, and one or two others here, world view. You see the world after the fact. That's likely why you are comfy with rentals: I buy X, I rent X plus, I make money. I prefer to make judgements on potential. Not just people but with everything.
  21. That's for something. Would you mind letting your wife and daughter chime in here on your posit?

Come on, Bill, come back with a refutation. You made a medical argument without an attribution. You got push back and then complained that it was really about decorum. No personal attacks have been made. Instead you've been invited to support your position with facts. Saying you heard it on a radio talk show and yada, yada, yada isn't an answer or an explanation. Support your point.

If it was proven to work I'd take Bag Balm and I'd lick it from the bag PRN. However, for the moment I'm sticking with vaccine and white and red burgundy. So far, so good.
