if you want to do statistical analysis on fatalities within the sport, you need huge amounts of data about each jump ranging from age / experience of the jumper, to weather / adverse conditions and anything else you can think of... only this way can you try and say with any certainty "yes, doing X causes more fatalities than doing Y". Possible but very, very time consuming and as you say, the small sample size could lead to innacurate conclusions from misleading data.

Always seem to have one where I pull low and the canopy barely opens before the ground coumes up - i slide it in and then do the same on the next jump. Wierd...

When I was a student the weather was crap one day and I was being taught to pack by an instructor mate of mine - learning on his Stilleto 135. he reasoned that if I learnt to pack that, F111 would be no probs... After fighting for ages to get the bundle in the bag, taking it back out, s-folding it again etc.... I finally got it in although god knows where the lines were... He said no probs and that he'd repack it before we jumped again.... needless to say the weather brightened up later and we rushed to make a load - on the way up to altitude he leans forward to me and goes "oh shit... I forgot you packed this..." after all that it opened ok - canopies do indeed WANT to open ;)

just a general question of a psycho vs PRO pack - I know how to do them both but as yet haven't had the bottle to jump a psycho pack. Is is really any different to a PRO pack, mal rates etc? (assuming I take the rotation out the right way ) Will
