Why would these two facts lead you to believe it is bogus? There are plenty of newbies on ebay with no feedback, plus, you dont have to offer paypal on your auctions...based on what you think is fraud, then half of ebays auctions are fraudulent.

I have seen so many threads bitching about this place, obviously there are a lot of skydivers that dont like this operation. I have never really understood the exact reasons why (no need to start that discussion again, there are a million other threads on that topic). I was also there and witnessed the tragic event along with the brave efforts of everyone trying to do everything they could to try and get him out. It was incredible how everyone pulled together and fought up until the last minute to see if there was anything that could be done to save him. Skydivers are amazing people. Peace BSBD.

when you make allegations against a known worldwide superstar you have to accept the fact shit is going to happen.....It is sad, but that is why alot of famous people get away with this shit, people choose not to press charges because of these very reasons....She was probably told by her attorneys that it was highly possible her name would come out and shit would be talked about her... Sad but true, she chose to accept the risks by going to court.

Then why is it in emergency situations if the pilot says to get out...you get out.....In this case how do you know there was not some sort of emergency? I do understand that ultimately we are responsible for ourselves, however i have seen discussions where people agree that if the pilot says to get out, you get out.....thoughts? also...the poster originally said that the pilot was continuously yelling at him....that would lead me to believe something was wrong. If it was just a matter of separation time i think the jumper should have gotten out...if there was traffic below or some other reason not to get out then he did the right thing. Otherwise, i personally think he should have gotten out and then brought the issue up with the DZO or S&TA.

Just noticed something weird on my office computer....i was starting to wonder why certain websites had not been updated in a while, the same stories had been there for 2 weeks....today i noticed the dates on the websites and a handful of them say the date is 10/5/04...these are major sites that i am seeing this on (msnbc.com, etc....) There is a group of about 5 websites i normally go to that are all saying the date is the 5th... is it possible for my network admin to freeze access to these sites and that is why i am not seeing fresh updates????

Here's the deal....5-6 months ago a very good friend of mine tells me he wants to go do a tandem and bring his girlfriend along for her birthday. Only catch is he doesnt have the cash and asks if i will pay. I agree with the understanding that he will pay me back ASAP. I agree and pay for their jumps (500+ bucks) Fast forward to today. He has mentioned the money he owes me maybe 3 times. Each time saying he needs more time to get the cash. However, him and his girlfriend manage to party every weekend. I am not talking about going out for drinks. I am talking about partying like rock stars with a certain substance that doesnt come cheap. This is an every weekend occurence. I have let it slide up until now. I do not need the cash, but I am growing more and more irritated knowing they have the funds availavble to party the way they do....so with that said...what the hell should i do?

Arggghhh....Certain friends say they will never skydive, I respect them and do not harass them. Certain friends say they kinda want to do it, I respect that and also do not harass them. However, there is this one freakin sissy boy who says he is going to do AFF. He has done two tandems and has promised numerous times over and over that he is going to do AFF. I would not care if he never said he was going to do it, however HE BRINGS IT UP and says he is going to do it... fast forward to every weekend he claims he is going to go....it is one excuse after another. Like I said above I wouldn't care if he wasnt the one bringing it up. He even lost a bet on an NFL game and was supposed to go that weekend. Did he act like a man and honor his bet? Nope, sure didnt. I think I am going to post his phone number on every gay / transexual / hermaphrodite dating website I can find just to piss the fucker off just ranting....back to your regular scheduled programming

I have heard that larsen and brussgard will replace a protrack for free if you lose it while skydiving. Anybody know this to be true? Lost mine due to riser slap and would be more than happy to except a free replacement if that is the case.
