  1. The logic that more control means a tighter ship is BS. Look at prohibition in the 20's, look at the war on drugs - both ineffectove. War on drugs? Prohibition? What? Man your all over the place here. Stay on topic and stop trying to drag this into some sort of Geopolitcal argument about how every thing else has failed so we should just give it all away. We will probably never stop the flow of illegal immigration but we must slow it down. ------------------------------------------------------- I still haven't read anyone saying they would just stay there in poverty because it's the law if it were them and their family. --------------------------------------------------------- Well I guess that this argument makes everything O.K. Their system has failed and so now ours should fail also? How many do we let into the life boat before it sinks and kills us all? --------------------------------------------------------- We know your American perspective of shot em where they stand, ----------------------------------------------------- What the fuck are you talking about? Who said that? Oh wait, that is just more of that inflammatory rhetoric crap designed to create fear regarding what the volunteers are doing. You forgot to add. Kill em all. let god sort em out. I get it.
  2. I believe that it came from the smokinggun.com web sight
  3. However, in a more free border there is a flow of immigrants in and out of the country and illegal immigrants are much less likely to stay in the USA for extended periods of time, thus reducing the amount of illegal immigrants in the country. . There is a problem with your plan. Contrary to what most think, not all of the jobs being filled by UDA's are of the non skilled variety. Here in my town, there is a building boom under way. Walk into any new under construction development and what will you find? You will find that many of the skilled jobs ie... Carpenter, plumber, and electrician ect are actually being done by UDA's. So much for the "they only take the jobs we don't want" theory. Oh yea, and they are sending all of that money back home to feed their starving families.Good for them. Well what about our starving families. What about the american carpenter that can't get a job because he dosn't work cheep enough.
  4. _________________________ I like this guy's approach _________________________ yes!!! free lunches for everyone!! we can pay the hospital bills by going to the money tree and plucking a few bushels. if that doesn't work, we can go get the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! i hope the little leprechauns won't mind...maybe we could all work for free and make sure that everyone gets everything whether they are productive or not. we could call it happy land!!!
  5. reply]I say shoot to kill anyone hopping the fence and string them up where the fall facing the other side as a warning to all other fence jumpers, and planting a few boobie traps and land mines as well wouldn't hurt. ~ I realize that your joking but the odd thing is that many think that criminal violations will be the order of the day for the volunteers. I suppose that is just what some would want the world to think. That way members of the volunteer movement could be labeled as criminals and arrested making way for the UDA's to walk right on in unmolested as they have been for years. A few weeks ago, I read a disturbing article in the AZ Republic news paper. The article was about how some government agencies in Mexico are actually writing pamphlets that outline where, when, and how to make illegal crossings into the US. They say it's being done in order to help save the lives of those who under take the arduous journey, but isn't that kind of like saying, "When robbing a bank make sure you where a bullet proof vest" How about instead of giving ideas on how to make these illegal crossing, they say some thing like... oh I don't know... Wait I've got it how about "DON"T DO IT. IT'S AGAINST THE LAW" Check out these two links. The first is the how too article the second is about the impact of UDA’s on the medical system http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4187/is_200501/ai_n9957737 http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1282/is_5_55/ai_98572458 Sorry, I don't know how to make them clicky.
  6. I'd like to take this oppourtunity to make a correction. It was incorrect and unfair for me to infer that the border patrol is doing a lousy job. It would have been more accurate to say that they are overwhelmed and more personel is needed to trully be effective. My appoligies if I have offened any BP officers and No I'm not kidding.
  7. I never said I would treat them like shit. I Never did, and I never will. In fact, I have treated them far better than most. You know, that whole keeping them alive thing? With out the motivation to fix their own system they will not. I understand their plight. No dispute there. But it sounds as if you and others would allow our system to become depleted as theirs is. I would like to keep this up but I have to go some where. I'll post more later on tonight.
  8. Not paying for the services they received is in my opinion living off the tit of the govenment
  9. Triage knows no color. reply] Yes it does. That color is green. Plain and simple, it is a matter of money. Hospitals, Fire departments, and ambulance services survive on money received for services rendered or from tax dollars. That is a fact. Should we stand by and do nothing as our emergency response system goes bankrupt? Should we continue to give it all away until there is nothing left for us? For what? To be hornorable? Sorry, I do not agree. They Should fix their own system rather than depend on ours. Or do you feel that should be our responsibility as well?
  10. The US border patrol has said that they don't want the volunteers help in the patrolling of the border. Could it be that they don't want the public to know just how badly they are doing their jobs?
  11. I live in Southern AZ and I have been thinking of joining the volunteers. As an EMT/Firefighter, I witnessed undocumented aliens traveling across the border just for the free medical care. Hospitals in southern AZ are facing a crisis. How do they stay open when the majority of the patients they treat never pay for the service? How do they restock supplies? How do they pay the staff? Most importantly, will the hospitals be open when a tax paying citizens like my self or my family need them most? Answer, not at this rate. Racist my ass. Those who play the race card are doing nothing more than trying to keep the door open for the illegal immigration of their own familys. Illegal is illegal We have enough lazy mother fuckers in this country living off the govrenment tit. We don't need undocumented aliens doing it all so.
  12. [ The court's out on the fromer. Please explain this statement. I simply do not unerstand your meaning
  13. [ That's correct, but there is a "Chicken BASE Award." J.D. Walker started it in the 80s. You must stand, ready to jump, on all four objects, "and then chicken out to the max . . ." I didn't realize I could get a chicken BASE number. Hell, I could have got it so long ago I'm sure that my number would be in the double didgets. Damn it, if only I'd known about it sooner. What are the numbers up to now?
  14. reply] I had not heard that one before. I like it
  15. [ I made no commentary in the other thread because I thought it was disgusting the way she was being paraded on national TV by both sides. ." Headline news even has a sad sounding song to play before they air their piece.

  17. There are beaches at many points along the Colorado River. No shit sherlock it's just that sweltering heat thing that I was hoping to avoid.
  18. Anyways, for those interested in taking a small glimpse into what others see and think about the US, take a look here: http://www.cbc.ca/fifth/sticksandstones.html Why bother, I get enough of that in this forum
  19. Damn, I hoping for some relief from the summers heat
  20. [and travelled to both coasts, Texas and Arizona in my time there. You went to the beach in Arizona? Where exactly is that?
