we live at 3000 feet, it freezes alot in the winter. we are also brokers, and are dealing with hundreds of vacant homes (repos), and I winterize homes....so....this is what I have been told to do. Shut off water. Place zip tie and label on valve warning not to turn back on. Shut off power source to water heater (gas or elec) and label the water heater as to not be turned back on until filled. Drain water heater. Drain all water from pipes by opening valves AND blowing air with a compressor through pipes. Leave valves open. Place non hazardous antifreeze in all traps, dishwasher, and laundry. If power is on, set thermostat to 50. If power is off, thermostat/heater is off. Place labels to warn that house has been winterized. but, this also serves as a sign saying "hi bad guys, this house is empty, come on in and take the light fixtures, appliances, door hardware, electrical wiring, and anything else you need to sell for crack." ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

here is a pic of what i fly. there are part 103 trikes, but i have never seen one with a 582. my trike is the E-LSA designation, which allows a passenger, flying over congested areas. the air cooled 503 is a good motor as well. my friends trike had one, then he changed to the 582. no real difference in cruise speed, but the climb rate did increase. i like the idea of the air cooled motors, one less system to check and maintain. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

by the way....every industry that insurance has gotten their teeth into has increased their prices. mark my words. in ten years if the pet insurance really takes off, watch what happens to vet costs. now back to the subject. would i buy insurance for a rock? no. because i...we, ...do not buy silly rocks. we buy houses, which allow us to spend more time together, jumping from planes, not starring and ooooing at a silly, insured, rock.
