just sound like she was more focused on the anger then the deliverence of a message. i went back and read it again. and, yeah i agree with what she says...but i would like to add what my instructor taught me..."people themselves make the best decesions for themselves...we must not influence them to much." and, i have to say...darwinism is alive...if people would stop trying to be so cool (as in going to a small rig, or swooping, too soon ) and let themselves enjoy the learning process, and the fact that we actually jump out of planes and live, there may be less injury and deaths. ooops, there i go...ranting. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

yeah, never "reduced" your life. my wife and i skydive to help us do more in life...without fear...some jumpers live to jump, and thats all. i can see how that would destroy a realationship. skydiving to us is like the sweet icing on the cake. my wife is also an actress (sometimes, you know the deal) but acting sooths her soul, and brings her to new highs. i dont act, but i would never ask her to stop... ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

Hey, we just happend to be in St. Louis for about a month and hope to jump at your DZ. We work on saturdays, but I would like to come to the meeting...(and jump on Sunday). I was up in Chicago this last week. We travel for work, hit about 20 DZs a year, and the safety varies greatly. By the way...what kind of planes are you flying there? I have lost a soccer coach, brother, wife, and recently 2 skydiving friends (both DZOs)...after the hurt is gone, i tell people that the older you get, the more people you know will die. sounds a bit morbid, but mathematically its true. it just hurts more when they go "before thier time" as in, before "we" expect them to go. i miss them all, all the time. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

I married a skydiver (in freefall no less)...no other way to go. and, when the kids come...they will (can if they want) jump. anyone who has given up the sport for a significant other should ask themselves a question..."why would i want to narrow my life, dreams...and soul?" ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?
