  1. I went to the store to get some lunch and thought I'd go easy and healthy. Got some blackberries and some nuts. Some thing light and good for you. As I'm walking to the checkout I pass the organic food aisle and saw they had chocolate covered coffee beans. These things are worse than crack. I eat a few of them and now I'm pinging off the walls hard. I'm eating these berries and nuts like a branch grinder. I'm actually scared I might take a finger off. Someone help.

    Tat Work

Going in today to get more tat work today. I have to Simpson family skydiving on my leg. Bart is under canopy with Homer's canopy just out of the container. Marge,Maggie and Lisa doing a rodeo dive and Grandpa Simpson under a round canopy. And Santa's little helper and Snowball II with angel wings playing cards in the clouds. Grandpa Simpson is getting colored in today and then in a couple of weeks the sky and clouds get colur and the Duff Beer blimp gets added. Not really looking forward to todays work since Grandpa is on the back of the leg and for me that has been the most sensitive area.
  3. I have verizon and have to use a phone card to make international calls.I just call the calling card and then put in the country # and phone number I'm trying to call. Verizon has a international plan but I found it cheaper to use the phone card. It depends on the phone card and the country you call as to what the rates are. I get about 6hours of talk time to the Phillipines for $20 with the card I have. And it is set up on a auto reload so I don't have to worry about getting cut off in the middle of a conversation.
  4. Well I knew the call was coming anyday now. It came around 5pm. My uncle has now moved on. my mom told me that he went with a smile on his face and went peacfully. so now we have to make the arrangemments for him and I'm trying to arrange to make a ash dive with him. He will be missed.
  5. Even if your not from the Austin area come out anyway. I'm celebrating life and want all the more people to come out and help.
  6. At the end of April or beginning of March I will start jumping again after 2 years of being grounded. I have to do some coach jumps to get current again, but I want to invite everybody out to have a good time and to help me celebrate getting back into the air again. I'm bringing the beer. I'll post where and when after I get back from vacation.
  7. Hey guys thanks for the support. I really need it at a time like this.
  8. Why is it that every time something good happens something bad comes along to knock you back down? I just got promoted to paramedeic field supervisor at work and then a couple of days later I get a call from my mom telling me that my uncle is in the hospital. Says he went into v-fib twice and was brought back. Then while I'm at work yesterday, I get a call from her saying that me is being moved to a hospice hospital because right now his liver function is less than 10% and he has a bilirubin level of 25-28. Way above normal. So now I have a high from getting a promotion but knocked down because my uncle will be dead in the next few days. One of his lsat wishes is to be cremated and have his ashes spread from the top of Pikes Peak. I may try to talk my mom into letting me take part of the ashes and do a ash dive with them. When you work in EMS you think you get used to death and dying but right now this is very hard to deal with. I have stared at death and dared him to take pts that I have had but now there is nothing I can do. So now I sit here and drink a little and toast to his life and wait for the inevitable phone call to come.
  9. It's coming soon. In 35 days I leave for vacation. ANd I can not wait till it gets here. Going to the Phillipines for a couple of weeks. I'll be in Manila the 1st night and then in a couple of the provinces while I'm there. Spending time on the beach on a small island and then time in the mountains there. And the whole time I will have a very hot guide to show me around. Can't wait and counting down the days. Hell I might even do a tandem while I'm there, since my rig is completly taken apart and sitting in my closet right now.

    Wish for luck

I've been around. Just lurking. Haven't been jumping because of a back injury from a wreck. And still waiting on lawyers to fight it out.
  11. The last time I posted a bad joke I was pretty much shunned from from here. I have some good ones about the camps but most people found them too offensive, disregarding the fact that I had family in the camps during the war. I am still shunned to this day. If you want a thread killed let me reply to it.

    Wish for luck

I just had a phone interview for a asst. fire chief job the other day. The competition was cut down from who knows how many, down to 18 then 7 and the top 3 get flown out next week for the final interview. The pay is no different from what I make now but when you look at the cost of living difference it makes up for it.
  13. waiting for figgin lawers to fight over when I can get my back surgery so I can jump again.
  14. try this one out. http://www.break.com/index/dude_farts_outside_during_-35_degree_weather.html
