if it's what you want, get it! The pro's and cons are not all that big if it fits your needs. You may have an issue here and there with riggers, but for the most part, not a big deal. I have one myself, but then again, I'm my own rigger.... my pics & stuff!

that's totally understandable. I figure I'll have about a week before nationals to work with a team.... but other than that, I can't commit to a team for training before hand...unless they want to come down to san diego on my one day off a week. my pics & stuff!

the problem is that I work every weekend. I'll be done doing tandems/video around nationals, and that's really the only commitment I can give. Gotta pay the child support somehow. my pics & stuff!

looks like my renters insurance is gonna cover it, but there were lots of things that really can't be replaced. That bag for one. I made that thing. Took me a while, a lot of time was spent on it. to add to this, is it true that you should only sew paralell(?) to the load, and not perpendicular? Does this make sense? It's a structural thing with welding too, as to welding perpendicular to the load can cause a weak/break point. Anyone? my pics & stuff!

that's funny. Several people have said the same thing. I don't think another skydiver did it. There were a few other things taken as well, but the riggin shit was the most valuable...(to me anyway) my pics & stuff!

Maybe I'll get lucky here, most likely not, but I need to vent. My car was broken into last night and my riggin kit was taken. All of my manuels, tools, extra parts, my log, seal and, well....you get the idea. Yeah, shame on me for leaving it in my car, but it has NO use to anyone unless they know riggin. The crescent wrench and leathermen were the only things that looked like normal tools. The bag I had made myself. I'm pissed. It was taken from northeast San Diego sometime last night. The bag is made of navy blue cordura with a black zipper, and black webbing handles. And of course, I have no photo's of it either. I hate thieves! my pics & stuff!

I have a 10D and have occasionally gotten some odd error out of the blue. Don't know what caused it, and luckily it's all happened on the ground. my pics & stuff!

I've heard the same, some have had very hard pulls, and some not. My one so far was easy. my pics & stuff!
