Sometimes having a good spot is a little out of my control and I am relying on the person in the door. Most of the time I'm diving to the formation so I dont get a look at the spot until I'm out. All you can do in that situation is try to be as prepared as possible by looking for outs as soon as you open if you know your gonna have an off DZ landing.
