Just changing out the riser covers and adding a BOC pouch. About an hours work for someone that knows what they are doing. I call it updating, but call it what you want.

Did you all read his post? He wants to change to a throw out BOC and add tuck tab riser covers. So I told him to send it to me and I could make the changes plus any factory updates. No big deal. When it comes to modifications to containers or harnesses most good riggers will tell you to send it to the factory where they do it all of the time and have all of the templates etc.

This is easy to do. I sent you a PM.

Isn't that a question that you should have asked before you ordered? I don't think you can go wrong ordering from any of the top manufacturer's. It's just a matter of preference and options to fit your needs and desires. Congrats and enjoy.

That every container manufacturer determines compatibility with their systems. And your point is? Yes they have their ideas just as RWS has the Skyhook. Mirage has the unison harness etc. And now there is a second manufacturer using a speed bag in their reserve system. And my original point is that the post that started this thread was incorrect.

You right, because the container manufacture's do the testing for the TSO as part of their reserve system and not the canopy manufacture's. Obviously the container manufacture knows more about their system than the canopy manufacture and the FAA agreed (see AC 105-2 11a). And of all of the canopy manufacture's you are only talking about a single manufacture.

Actually it is pretty easy. The MT-1XX and MC-4&5's that we use have holsters on the side for our Glocks.

This is not true if the container manufacture allows it. If there is a conflict between the canopy and container manufacture the container manufacture prevails. See FAA AC 105-2C 11a which can be found here

You might take a sewing class at your local store such as JoAnn Fabrics . This is what I did and I told them I wanted to learn how to make jumpsuits and they taught me. The whole four week class was $75.00

We use the MT-1XX for our SAR team and load them to the max all of the time (over 500 tactical jumps). I jump one with a 75lb canine and ruck sack. We did send them to Para Flight to be inspected prior to use since they were given to us by the military.

I sent you a PM. Also you could get with a local rigger or contact the Mfg. of the container you want to rig and see if you could come by for a half day or so and learn how they factory pack their products. Most companies are more than happy to do this.

Other than the DZ everyone else is pretty much shut down for the holidays until Monday. If you are there on a weekday there is Alti2, Merlin Suits, Ouragan Suits, TSO (The Skydiving Outlet), Birdman, Jump Shack, RWS, Mirage and PD all within about a 1/2 mile of the DZ.
