Man I loved that game!

I have lasered every 100' or so from the start to said exit point and have gotten a ton of different numbers. Instead of a gradual increase like you would expect while walking out to the highest point; the contour of the land is all over the place. It is a lot more wavey and dippity than you can tell by just scanning the landscape as you walk up. From the the exit point I went back and forth the cat walk a number of times lasering in between the two pillars, and settled on 242' ... to the wet spot. But who knows I could have been hitting the bottom of a mudhawk hole? I lasered this a few years ago, and are remembering this after a few beers ago, so........

Your right, on the rodeo the shrivel flap is not peeled yet. But if you look at the bottom of the shrivel flap it's pulled up slightly and about to rip open telling me there is tension on the bridle. The two way has the pc's opening the container on the left and pulling the canopy to line stretch on the right, which should be plenty of tension on the bridle. Like I said before it was just something I noticed over a couple of pictures and does not provide enough data to form an opinion.

Awesome pictures! Avenfoto, your not concentrating enough! Also, take a look at the pilot chutes on the rodeo and the two way pig jump, there is some slight distortion going on. Then look at the three way AFF style jump, the middle jumpers Toxic PC looks perfect. It made me think a little more about sucking up the cost of buying one and trying it out! (and yes I know, it's just a couple of pictures, not enough to make a final opinion)

Thats a great idea! I've had a couple of people contact me asking if they could sit in on any sort of instruction I can find. Anyone willing to hold a sort of mini class? Also, I thought you still use a diaper for longer delays?

I Just saw "Female Outlook On Base" by Lika. In my opinion it's the best base video to date! If you think sitting around drinking beer and watching video is fun then this film will exceed all of your expectations!

Thank you for pointing out that complacency is deadly. Thank you for pointing out they "fucked up", I wasn't sure if they new that or not. The point of me even bringing up this jump was to try and add something to the conversation of "Slider-up altitude eaten?"

How much of a delay did he take? Go and throw? I think it was about a second.

how do you do this. accidentally. you should know whats in your rig, how its packed, what pc your using. people die this way. not a flame but your friend needs to pay more attention to detail. You do this as posted.. "Accidentally" This person has jumped various objects all over the world, is very heads up and Does pay attention to detail. It was an unfortunate accident that fortunately turned out okay.

I was on an A at 200' and watched someone jump from 400' accidentally slider up. It was on heading and the slider was at the bumpers directly in front of me.

Last night I walked right off the street into the stair well of a B under construction. Could not have been any easier....

I don't know if it helps but I watched our mutual friend do a go and throw from a heli at 400' It looked normal, I can find the video if you want.

Remind me to dig up the number... I have had a few meetings with a guy who is training some pretty high level divers. I have seen one of the facilities he works out of and was scared shitless to think I was going to flip off of the highest platform....(i haven't yet) His life has been devoted to diving and works out of Vienna. Maybe a two hour drive for you.

I sold my voodoo/stiletto a couple of years ago and bought a lage container and raven III to use exclusivley as my skydiving rig. It is great to be constantly under a canopy that is similar to my base canopies. The only negative thing about it is you won't have a small and cool looking rig. But then again who cares! You should be able to find one cheap, especially if it has been used a few times.

It's getting late and I should be heading out of the office soon, your post made me smile!
