  1. Glad it all worked, That's one hell of a picture!!
  2. How did that one turn out??
  3. Get a large Raven! It won't cost much and is very similar to a base canopy.
  4. People don't wear tracking pants just to track away after a 4 way jump. Pants (with the jacket) are close to beginner level wingsuits.
  5. Not to hijak but has anyone ever used these? http://www.sixsixone.com/Catalog_661Bike.aspx?id=a9fc2642-7c61-44a1-9b87-c978ce9f925a&product=320c420e-9789-4296-a5d9-c9478f4b4880
  6. There is absolutely nothing wrong for you to use this as your main! It is my main and has been so for a few years. I have my reasons...... If money is your issue and you just need something to keep you from bouncing after a jump then it is good, if you want to practice accuracy on every jump then it is good, etc..... Just don't overload it and roll the nose

    bird issue...

We have a tower that is named "Buzzard" because of them....
  9. That makes me think of this story, wich I have a strong connection to. http://www.amazon.com/Never-Turn-Back-Whitewater-Blackadar/dp/1877625035/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/002-3574974-0784862?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1173153139&sr=8-1 I love hearing our history, please keep it up!

  11. Sorry bro... you were definitely jipped!
  12. hahaha, even looks like Twoply in freefall!!
  13. ....Okay, i'll pay.....(a little)..
  14. Okay, Might sound crazy but anyone out there have a older un-airworthy container they would be willing to donate so that I can un-pick the stitching to study it's construction? People donate there bodies in the name of science so that wanna-be doctors can dissect them, well i'm a wanna-be rigger so wad'ya say??
  15. When you say case I assume you mean the machine itself, and not a storage case? The machine itself is definitley Not plastic, it's probably steel but I can not say for certain. It is very solid feeling though. It sits in it's own table and can fold down for storage. I'll look it over again to see if there are any more distinguishing markings or numbers. Scott
  16. Hey Chuck, The owners manual just says Singer 306, but on the machine itself it says 306W. I can't find anywhere the 25? I'm going to take it to a shop near me and see what they say, and of course just start practicing with it! Thanks, Scott
  17. I was just given an old Singer 306 that seems to be in excellent condition and a friend told me it was a decent beginners machine. Has anyone here used this particular machine? And if so what types of things were you able to accomplish, such as making risers/toggles or only being able to repair torn t-shirts? Thanks, Scott
  18. Adding the "Duff" part made it a real packing situation! "Hmmm, you can really taste the goat"!!
  19. I wish mine had the light but you can still get by with out it. After lasering something the number stays there for a few seconds, then you can look at a light source such as a distant street light, the moon, a tower light, etc.... and you will be able to read the number.
  20. 1. People in a position of control for no apparent reason making decisions that negatively impact the very people who are paying their salaries. ------------------------------------------------------------ I couldn't agree more!
  21. I put my laser right at the grate to get a measurement from where my feet would leave the exit point. This is how I came up with my height. But walk just a few feet in either direction on the catwalk and that number changed by as much as 10 feet.
