  1. Hi all, I know the link has been posted in another long, drawn out thread, but i think the quality of the vid deserves its own space. The following is a selection of flights filmed while testing some new Phoenix Fly V series protoypes. There has been no image trickery involved - no speeding up, slowing down, zooming in etc - just pure human flight. Enjoy

  9. We have Morpheus Tech based in the UK who are our US HQ. In addition we have many dealers that are US based
  10. Absolutely, every suit leaving a factory should be perfect. In the rare event that we make an error with a suit, we don't expect our customers to pay for the shipping back to us to get it fixed. In the case of US customers, the suit can be shipped to Morpheus Tech who will then forward it to the factory, or the suit can be sent direct. Either way, we will cover this cost if we are at fault. If the customer has made an error in the measurements, we will of course try to fix it for them, but they will need to cover the costs as the suit will have been built to the spec that we were provided with. This is why we stress that it's so important to get the measurements right, or get a dealer to measure for you. My comment about a local rigger was in reference to rectifications to a suit due to wear and tear, or damage caused outside of our control etc. As always, if anyone has any issues whatsoever with our products, please contact me. We can only fix problems if we know about them. [email protected] Phoenix Fly - High performance wingsuits for skydiving and BASE Performance Designs - Simply brilliant canopies
  11. Yes, absolutely. Depending on how busy the factory is, we can turn around a suit repair on the day we receive it, and have it shipped back. We use FedEX for priority deliveries on new suits or repairs, which is of course just as trackable, and just as quick as any US domestic delivery. In most cases however, as with any make of suit, it's often easier to get a local rigger to make the repair if you've damaged the suit (obviously damage dependent). We have a main US distributer - Morpheus Technology - based in FL who can be a first point of contact for all US customers, or you can contact the company directly. We all speak English, heck i'm English, we invented the language! Seriously though, just because our factory is not based in the US means nothing. We can provide suits just as quickly, just as trackable and with (we hope) excellent customer service. Through Morpheus, our US customers have a point of contact in a similar time zone, or failing that - round the clock support from one of our other contacts

  15. I think that's a wings D Bag? While I can sort of see the logic with it, it's the stows that are going to play a more important part in the deployment process. I jump a Vector stowless bag (bar the two lock mouth stows) which uses tuck tabs to hold the lines in a 'pocket'. This draws the lines from one central point meaning the bag has no horizontal movement until it's a full speed and has certainly helped with the openings. At the end of the day, body position is the key to getting a nice opening. Other things to consider are packing grommet to pin, and using an extended 'wingsuit' bridle - which will help to get your PC into clean air. 16. Mac, the UK has the WS1 and WS2 sticker system which has various skills required for each. You can get the document on the BPA's website which lists the requirements, or just speak to a BPA coach
  17. Thanks for your kind words Jack - glad we were able to get something sorted for you

  22. I'd be wary of adding a bit of foam noodle to your arm sleeve without securing it in some manner. Come unzip time, that could get 'fun'. Phoenix Fly - High performance wingsuits for skydiving and BASE Performance Designs - Simply brilliant canopies
  23. Speed is only a question of money (MadMaxI) How fast can you go? Even the driver of an Aston Martin Vantage Zagato (Bi Turbo) will just see the impressiv boat tail ass of my Porsche tuned 67 Sting Ray Big Block compression rate: 14:1 7.8 litre + NOS ...for all other Astons will be the 63 Avanti fast enough the most fun is the wedding white BladeII Yiu have too much money Phoenix Fly - High performance wingsuits for skydiving and BASE Performance Designs - Simply brilliant canopies
  24. Congratulations. You just won the Sangi award for automotive awareness in the wingsuit forum. Yay! I'd like to thank my mum, my agent, all the fans... etc... Phoenix Fly - High performance wingsuits for skydiving and BASE Performance Designs - Simply brilliant canopies
  25. You're not dealing with an Aston and your Vette will only eat lunch as long as it makes up for inefficiency with increased displacement. What happens when the competition has the same displacement...you'll see eventually . Corvette 6.2 litres, Aston Martin Vantage 6.0 litres. Hardly a major difference. I doubt increasing the Aston by 200cc will change very much. Corvette - 6.2L; 430BHP Aston Martin V12 Vantage - 6L; 510BHP It's not all about cubic capacity We should probably move this to a car forum... p.s. before you say it, I know it's not all about BHP either!
