I've been in both ends of the situation....I had one, and she's had one... and I think for me and her it was more fun when I went down, then when she did. Honestly - I didn't notice it too much. It's much better if you're pierced down there and her tongue is 'normal' than if you're not and she is. here's more trivia (useless information) for you all... my sis was dating a chopper pilot (the one who flew to pick up Maverick and Goose when they went down) when the film was being made...and he would report back on what Cruise was like during the filming. Apparently - he was/is a COMPLETE ASS! (big surprise there, right!) How the hell do you have the nerve to walk into an O-Club with your "I'm in a movie about fighter pilots" attitude and think you're all that...to ACTUAL fighter pilots?? He was ridiculed on a daily basis, apparently, throughout the base. Word is producers had to step into more a couple "face offs" so he wouldn't get marked up. The nicest guy in the whole movie...(again, third party information) was Anthony Edwards, "Goose". He actually sat in with other F.N.O.s during training and learned as much as he could about the aircraft, the talk, and the "military" way...he was a supporting actor!! (p.s. I will admit - living next to Miramar/Fighter Town, U.S.A. (years later) was pretty cool - seeing them perform all their maneuvers above my college was wicked!) More....the "love" scene was put in after the filming because the early reports were that there wasn't enough "passion" between Cruise and McGillis. Problem was - McGillis had already changed her hair for another role...so it had to be blacked out, and filmed in shadow. Oh, and the volleyball scene that is SO LOVED by so many women....was actually played. They started playing to kill time between takes...and the producers realized how built the actors were - so they decided to turn the cameras on!! It obviously worked!
