There are several DZO's out there that do not comply with FAR's so, if you do comply why the attitude. As far as the demo delay goes, was the correct paperwork completed and filed? Do you know who is required to pack the main canopy regardless of who owns the rig. That is a FAR not a BSR. Spot checks or "ramp checks" are done often. Want to play, pay the dues, follow the rules. The requirements for SL/IAD instructors was lowered. You no longer have a "time in sport" requirement like we had with jumpmasters and instructors. You now can qualify to be a coach on one weekend and become and instructor the next if you meet the jump requirements. Blues, J.E. James 4:8

Dave, Give your local FISDO office a call and ask them. I think you will find that things such as STC's, 337's, and weight and balance changes are something most dropzones should know about. If they do not they should ask the A&I they use or call the FAA. Blues, J.E. James 4:8
