Dan-o you are loved and missed. Thanks for the skydives, the beers, the pizza and the good times. You touched the lives of so many people and you could always be counted on to be there, with a smile. You bumped off a load when I was having a hard time one day, just to sit and talk with me awhile... even though it wasn't skydiving related. Then you said it was time to let it go and just go fly. We did and it was an awesome jump with friends... one I'll never forget. Thanks for being a friend and a great jump buddy. Anthony, John, TJ and Ann I am so sorry for your loss. i did not read the many comments to your post. I only wish to add my comments. Some of you will remember my post from several years ago, "Why I love My Concealed Carry Permit". That story ought to be enough, but, on August 24th of 2007 I have an additional story to share: I travel the country in an RV to show dogs. I arrived at a rest area in Ohio at about 1:30am. Two men persisted in harassing me despite the presence of a dog that accompanied me into the restroom. After being menaced by the men I sent the dog out toward the men, barking. They backed up when the dog began barking and growling aggressively. They did not desist until I made it to my vehicle and released five addiitional dogs. They left the rest area at that time and I made a report to the Ohio State Police including their license numbers. My concealed carry permit was not needed, but was much appreciated.
