Hi Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with a cessna. What ever gets you to altitude. I personally do prefer faster aircraft seeing that I started jumping from a Kudu(the slowest jump ship in the world see attached picture). It's always nice jumping something new but a cessna week in and week out will eventually get to you. Hi I started jumping with a 285 Skymaster until jump 24. Then went on to a 190 for 11 jumps, and after that a 170 up and till jump 49. I then started jumping a 150. I consulted with 2 DZ chief instructor before jumping the 150. All my downsizing was clear by my local chief instructor. Who watched at least 4 landing in different conditions with each canopy. I feel(inexperienced opinion) that each person should be jugded on individual capability. In South Africa this is possible because our dz are so much small. Now the importent info ... Hi I need some help I have spotted a helmet at the dz which is from bonehead. The problem I have is that I can't spot it on there site it looks like the optik but it has a closed of box fitted for a Sony pc105e. The person who had this helmet said it came straight from bonehead and he make no mods on it. Anybody got any idees if this is a standard thing.
