Hi I am having some trouble since I installed service pack 2. My PC-105 which work like a dream with firewire and pinnacle no longer works. I thought maybe it's a problem with the camera but then I tested it on a friends pc and it works fine. So have any of you experienced the same problem. This past sunday, I escaped near injury with a 120 degree front riser carve. After completing about 30 degrees of the turn I saw that I was low and decide to use my out with ended up being a down wind landing. In hind sight I was please with my decision to use my out, I managed to escape without serious injury. I do have a few bumps to remind me. After considering what happen I came to some conclusion. 1. It was a poor setup and even though I aborted the turn I should have never started it. 2. I am now very happy about my decision to wait before down sizing. A decision I made about 4 weeks ago. 3. If it had not been for the few people guiding me, I would have been toast. Thanks to Tim Mace, Rob Kruger and Rob Vernon whom have shared there knowledge. Hi Feuler What I did is the following. 1. Tools -> options -> downloads 2. Click on plugins 3. Deactivate all plugins that view movies files. 4. Now go to skydivingmovies.com login 5. Pic a movies for download 6. left-click on download. (seeing that you deactivated the plugins for viewing the movies it will now prompt you to download. Optional 1. Install Flashget 2. Install Flashgot Extentsion for Firefox. Now when the download popup appears you can choose to use flashgot downloader which will send download request to flashget. Hi I started double front riser approaches at +- 150 jumps. I recently(200) started 90 front riser approaches. I still tend to started the 90 turn to high and thus ending up doing a double front riser approach. I have not hurt myself yet. Hi Justdumi I have pretty much stuck to the chart in fact I still flying a canopy loaded at 1.0:1 I totally agree with that chart. As a matter of interest the South African Parachute association has implemented a rule stating that 1.0:1 is the highest anybody can go prior to a 100 jumps.
