Oh, I totally agree! When I first started jumping at other dz's I wasn't as relaxed as I would have been at one of my regular dz's and that would show extensively in my abilities. Also, my first jump back after my sweetie hurt himself last year was a crappy one too. I totally agree that your mental state plays a huge roll in how your jump will turn out.

It will be hard not being able to jump, but my sweetie is a jumper as well, so at least he can enjoy that part of it.

Please remember that when you were a child, you didn't wake up one morning and decide to like girls. No...it was just part of you...it wasn't a choice. The same goes for gay children. They live for years feeling like there is something wrong with them because they are not attracted to the sex society says they should be. This feeling can even go on into adulthood. Today society is slowing learning more acceptance for homosexuality and that is allowing gay people to feel safer coming out (if they ever do), that is the only reason we see more of it today then we did in prior years. Homosexuality is not a choice...the only choice gay people have is to either live a lie their whole lives and never come out because society forces that upon them (how would you like to be forced to live with only a man your whole life?) or to come out and be treated as half a person without the same rights as the rest of society. Please remember, we didn't chose our sexuality. Tee

I had a friend that was doing a freefly jump and instead of putting on his freefly pants, he just left on his heavy material pants that zip off at the knee into shorts. Well, thankfully he had his wallet in one of the top pockets and not in the leg pocket, because while transitioning from sit to headown the zipper managed to get loose and his pant leg flew off. His face looked great on video. Tee

I am the baby of the family. But I have to say that my older brother and I are equally adrenaline junkies...I think we get it from my dad, he is a pilot and used to babysit us in the plane growing up....he took us for some WILD rides!!

YEAH! Way to go girls!!! I quit smoking cold turkey a few years ago and had to change my whole routine just to make it easier. I didn't sit in the same chair in the mornings that I used to have my cigarette in, I had to stop drinking coffee etc. etc. but I am still smoke free today. Good thing too because cigarettes in Alberta, Canada are approx $6 a pack and are going up another $1.50 in taxes!!!!
