I do enjoy poking my head in and taking a look around. It's nice to gather hear say from others on their experience. I don't stay on BLiNC for too long because my eyes grow a little tired on the dark purple black color scheme of the board. Nor am I registerd there. People who are well versed do have some impact on my decisions about gear with which i am not familiar. The scales must be weighed measured and duly noted before i make any final decisions on anything. to base or not to base that is the question. someday, when the winds are just right and my mind is clearly focused and at ease.... along with some proper training from the been there done that crowd of pro's whose knowledge is grounded in some experience that keeps them coming back in one piece and with a smile, i think victory beer is important to, and if they drink a different beer or smoke a different smoke, then they're not as much a man as me....... anybody jump Leading Edge ? their advertising is quite effective. the hot young lady makes it hard to concentrate and make an informed assesment of well hell anything, it could be a broken hubcap and i'd probably buy it..... i've got jumps35-46 on a sabre 2 170, it was tons of fun, right up until, i was coming back from a long spot. and chose an out away from the dz... i'm going back to the sabre 2 190, then, off to flight school for the 170, and 150...... 170 for me was loaded 1.32 or 1.35 and it was "tricky" in the RUN DMC sense of the word. and although it's flight characteristics were tits. my skill was not all conditions flight ready, as evidenced by my torn ulnal lateral maniscus in my left elbow. again, my choice, my fun, i'll do it again,and down size. just not quite as fast as i was, and again not as slow as everybody says.. it's personal, feel it thru, i'd recomend you take a canopy control when you go to a smaller rag and have the experienced person hop and pop it with you on tha radio @....... sabre 2 makes mouth happy....... that canopy gets me all crazy in the head, drooling , and unable to function outside of its seductive realm......... i was thinking about re enlisting, for shore orders, and going to school. but then, i sat down and really thought it thru, not a snowballs chance in hell. I did my 5. served. BTDT time to move on. saw a guy re enlist. when he was honorably discharged the captain asked him if he had anything to say as a civilian. this QM2(SW) says, yup.
