  1. Hi if you are learning premiere this is a great site http://www.wrigleyvideo.com/videotutorial/tutorials.htm Fear is that little darkroom where negatives are developed. Michael Pritchard.
  2. I have exactly the same problem with my samuria 150 and S/S grommets third jump on mine pulling the slider down it released the rh brake and then jammed up that was an interesting few seconds attempting to free it off. now i usually grab the grommets and keep them level as they come past the toggles. its still a bitch to get it past the dive loops though. thats a good tip about the brass grommets. maybe a new slider is in order. 3. Well said Michele. Some people just need to get a life. or if they had the bottle for it. try skydiving.
  4. Pirate name Bloody jack kid Every pirate lives for something different. For some, it's the open sea. For others (the masochists), it's the food. For you, it's definitely the fighting. Even though you're not always the traditional swaggering gallant, your steadiness and planning make you a fine, reliable pirate. Arr! Fear is that little darkroom where negatives are developed. 6. I have always renewed my bpa through the dz (Hib) and its noted on your membership form at the time. did mine when i got back from portugal. called at the dz on a wet and windy sunday. got it in the post tuesday (thanks Hannah) its your money and you can take it where you like. there are a lot of dz's that seem to think its them that are paying skydivers to jump. not the other way round.

  9. Hi all Favourite cocktails Ok so its Friday night and cocktails are due. Two of my favourites. B52. Tia Maria/baileys/absinthe try to get decent absinthe The one I got is 70%. In a straight three shot glass one shot Tia Maria, one shot Baileys poured slowly so it floats On top of the Tia Maria, one shot absinthe poured so it floats on the baileys. Light the absinthe and dunk a straw to the bottom of the glass. Slurp it down in one. Orgasmo. Frangelico /baileys/fresh cream. Take a wide rimmed cocktail glass and chill; dip the rim in fresh cream. And then into grated Belgian chocolate. And then into a cocktail shaker. Large shot of baileys Large shot Frangelico Large shot fresh cream Ice Give it a good shake and pour into the glass just up to the rim. Sprinkle on more grated chocolate And enjoy. courtesy of the French bar Alvor Fear is that little darkroom where negatives are developed. Michael Pritchard.

  14. the problem is as soon as the camera starts to record the timeline stops. print to tape where premiere controls the camera is fine until the camera starts to record then the timeline shuts down. cajones gave me some good advice and i will be putting it into practice just as soon as my system is all back up and running. will let you all know how i get on. 15. yes the partition was set to active and the drive letter remained the same. partition magic tools imager reported faulty partitions but partition magic program said they were ok managed to get all my data back so its ok. tried a few programs to look at the drive but nothing would touch it everything reported the drive as being locked by some other disk utility. it had also overwrote a lot of data with the partions lucky nothing i didn't have saved on disk. the scary bit all my stills from skydive algarve were on the drive and i had deleted them from the memory card. thank god i managed to get them back. 17. If you partition it and keep all your apps on one virtual drive, and keep all your footage, choonz, titles, etc on the other partition you may notice some improvements. Its worth a try and could be a quick fix. Thats what i thought until i used partition magic and now cannot access the drive looks like i am gonna have some work to do to get it back Fear is that little darkroom where negatives are developed. 18. yes thats my next move i think. i have a 80 gig 7200 rpm hard drive. buffered read time is 50 mb/s buffered write time is 32 mb/s thinking of repartioning to give me a 40 gig drive just for video editing. and then reinstalling premiere on that. got plenty of time on my hands out of it for at least 6 weeks due to a torn AC ligament in my LH shoulder so it should all be sorted by the time i start jumping again. the bummer is my new FFX helmet will be here in the next couple of weeks. 20. Hrm, interesting theory, though it seems a bit flawed... wait a few months and the container won't have such a long wait time? quite simple realy everybody always waits till the same time to order there new rig. then they wonder why the wait is such a long time. if you know you want a new rig order it in the winter and its all ready for the start of the season. mine was ordered in august odeyssey/samuria main/raven-m reserve and collected 8 weeks later. 21. yes same format in and out pal dv tried it with ntsc dv and same thing happens. the one thing i found out if i turned the camera on after loading premiere. i could import footage in but premiere didn't see the camera for export. if the camera is turned on first premiere can see the camera for export. but as soon as the camera starts to record premiere shuts down the timeline. haven't tried to export without rendering not sure if it allows it but will try really appreciate all the help from you guys thanks Fear is that little darkroom where negatives are developed. 22. Not in rip of britain they didn't funny when the price of crude went up petrol prices went up the same day when the price of crude drops petrol stays the same $1.19 per litre here Fear is that little darkroom where negatives are developed. Michael Pritchard.
  23. Hugs thoughts good vibes and prayers going out to you Michele.
  24. yes the project is rendered and in vcr mode on the camera. if i switch on display i get dv in. premiere will start the project switch on record and then it shuts down. nothing on the tape at all. it seems to be as soon as the camera goes into record premiere shuts down the timeline. if i play the project and watch on the lcd fine. its just as soon as the camera starts to record premiere shuts off the timeline. weird thing is i can record the timeline onto the memory card no problem. i just need a twenty five gig memory card
