a little bit more info on this when i play the timeline in premier it plays fine. and if i have the camera set to vcr i can watch it on the lcd. if the camera is set to record and i play the timeline. as soon as i press record on the camera the timeline shuts off. there is also no output to the lcd when the camera is set to camera and on stand by. in device manager it shows when the camera is switched to vcr. and also when switched to camera. anyone have any ideas i have spent the last few days going through this and i thought i'd better post to the forum and get some good advice before there is a pc shaped hole in the window. Hi all Looking for some help with premier. premier will allow me to connect my pc120 by firewire and import video. but when i try to export back to the camera it tells me the camera doesn't exist. when the camera is set to vcr the video shows on the lcd. but if i try recording the output premier just shuts it off. got to be a simple explanation to all this. Have never flown with air france. But always take my rig as carry on. recently flown canada/states/portugal no problem with any of them outbound or back. I use a small sports bag that my rig is a tight fit in. the rest of my gear gets checked in. just check in early so you can deal with any problems. physco pack it i was struggling to pack my new 20+ jumps samuria (a small bag didn't help) when my rigger passed by. seeing me struggle he took over. 20 minutes later. he passed it back with the comment don't ever expect me to pack that f*cking thing again it was like trying to get a greased up octopus in a milk bottle

Yep the weather sucks at the moment just got back from the dz cloud base down to 1500ft not shifted all day as for 50 degrees i wish it was that warm first jump of the year early feb -35c at 16,000ft my tears froze and if i could have got my hands in my pockets in freefall i would have still went back up and did another one though

Know exactly how you feel. last sunday was over in skydive portugal. first jump caught a thermal off the runway as i flared and biffed in not a scratch. last jump of the day had been hanging around muscles getting cold came in for landing a little hot (winds had dropped to zero) had to run a little (like you still getting used to my new canopy) felt my thigh muscle cramp up limped back to the hangar rubbing my leg next day could hardly walk cold muscles/joints+ sudden exercise are a recipe for disaster. get well soon. Know how you feel I work a four on four off rota 12 hour shifts 6-6 days 6-6 nights and its a bitch when the weekend rota comes around but its not all bad get long weekends off and i just booked holidays for my next two blocks that gives me 20 days off

I think i can remember what the bar is like but its sort of hazy after the parties. The parties are even wilder in the algarve if thats possible. will be back home on the friday as you go out on the sat so will miss you out there. good luck with the AFF and enjoy yourself will probably see you at hib sometime when you return as a newly qualified skydiver

Missed saturday due to work called in sunday to sort out the algarve trip but didn't get to jump as i had to shoot off to sort out a camera helmet for the trip glad you enjoyed hib great dz and even better people how come you stayed in a caravan when there is a new accommodation block or did the cider have something to do with it

Took me two weeks to house train my GS it didn't take physical punishment just a sharp NO and took her outside and lots and lots of praise when she went outside to pee the biggest problem was getting her to stop playing with the cat the cat almost left home she treat the cat just like a puppy and insisted on cleaning him top to toe whenever he came in the house

A few years back i was telling a fellow skydiver about the time we had turned up at a new dz and found out my reserve was out of date so it was pencil packed had a cutaway on my second jump (jumper kicked my cutaway pad off going out the door) as i dumped the reserve i was thinking hope to god this works her reply was did it yes janet i haven't forgotten
