editing your normal email to something spambots won't pick up is a special email to me :) I just took a different path since I wanted to know where those spammers get their emails and well.. ALOT come from here. Anyway, I know how to protect myself but would still like measures to be taken so spambots can't simply rip the emails from here. yea, I made a special email adres for this forum.. Simply change it and the spam is gone. Since I don't use it anywhere else it not a big issue for me but it would be nice if these spammers couldn't rip the adresses of this forum. The technologies are here so why not do it. You and I made precautions against spammers but how many on this forum haven't and now have to endure lots and lots of useless emails (spam). I just wanted to point out that dropzone.com is being used and it's users abused by spammers and how it could be fixed. It might be a good idea to replace the plain text email adresses in everybodies profile on this forum with pictures like on http://gathering.tweakers.net/forum/user_profile/9 or (less preferably) simply hide the email adresses in a non public database and enable a simple mail client where users can not see the email adres of the user they are emailing like http://www.motormaf.nl/forum/mail.php?user=26 Why you ask? Because Since a few days I am getting several spam emails to my email adres. That email adres is used exclusivly here so the spammers must have found it here.

I forget where but I did read a test of someone with 89ft² and 79ft² (or so) that was able to trick his cypres into firing while doing high performance maneuvers under canopy. A cypres will fire at +-750ft or lower so yes, it could happen. Don't forget AAD is NOT equal to Cypres. A cypres is an AAD but certainly not the only one and certainly not the cheapest. Other electronic AAD: Vigil, FXC Astra Also, there are mechanical (non electronic) out there asswel. Can someone explain why nobody uses bullet cams in skydiving? When fitting our motorcycles with camera's we always used these bullet cams on our helmets and on the frontfork. Works perfect and we could store that 'bulky' miniDV cam under our seats. Now offcourse in skydiving you don't have a seat but even then it must be easy to store the cam somewhere else in your gear. Only downside I can see is the wire you need to run between helmet and cam but that worked wonders on a motorcyclehelmet so can't see it not working here. See, that's where you go wrong. Being a "master" to most folks doens't mean that one doesn't learn anymore. It sipmly means a higher skill level than most people.
