  1. EXACTLY Justin. While Red hat has put out some very strong numbers this year, it's not even close to a fair comparison. You have to look at Market Cap as well. Now, could this be a good indication of the future of Red Hat... who knows. How many people are kicking themselves now who bought in to MSFT in 86' when it was trading at less than a 1.00 and took their profits before the 1st slpit, or the 2nd, or the 3rd, or... you get the point. Good Call tho, hope you got in early, I could live with some 300% gains. Blues! Merrick
  2. Man, you don't know how true that is. I've just started trying to learn to freefly, and I have a suit I ordered from Tad's Sportswear (now Gravitator Airwear) almost 2 years ago that I never really used until now. It's a great suit, but it's WAY too baggy. I feel exactly like I'm fighting it the entire time. I simply didn't ask enough questions before I bought it, and ended up getting what I "thought" would be best. I was wrong... it all makes sense now. So, now what can I do with the suit. It's fairly light weight material, would having someone take in the seams make it worse? Or would it be a good idea to have some of the slack taken out of it? Thanks! Blues! Merrick
  3. LOL Well, that's close, but you do kinda look like Munch from Law and Order SVU. Blues! Merrick
  4. Mmmm... there's my baby, that's my next "inexpensive" toy (after Pam's new rig that is). EXACTLY! I would have to hold the throttle pretty much wide-open just to hit 70-75 on the interstate, god fobid I have a head wind. However, I was clocked at 173 on the old Gixxr750 I had (93' GSX-R), now THAT was fun! Blues! Merrick
  5. OH DAMN MAN, that was SO funny!!! Emarrasing as hell, but funny. Sad thing is, no more than we've been able to jump, I probably haven't improved much since. lol Blues, Merrick
  6. Definitely a nice looking bike, but I seriously wasn't impressed with mine. In 99' I bought a new 99' 750 Shadow ACE Deluxe, and I swear it was the slowest most uncomfortable bike I've ever ridden. The seat was nice, but handlebars made me feel like I was hugging a bear. Don't mean to be negative, but I WAS ready to get rid of it within a week of riding it home from the dealer. Keep in mind, I prefer sport bikes too, so my opinion may be a bit biased. lol blues! 7. ROFL - Yeah, never heard of any of them before. I'm still around some, I try to stick more to the technical and safety forums tho (mostly just lurking) still learning all I can. Takes him a while to shave all the hair off his palms so it doesn't chafe later that night. LOL Definitely miss the old crew, those that were around for the first and second versions of dz.com. Blues, Merrick
  8. Here's a few of mine. Blues! Merrick
  9. Hmmm, I think I would have opted for the house, the chick, and the hot-tub... you know what I'm talking about. Blues! Merrick
  10. I'd buy a rig for Pam that our old DZO recently told us about... a good used rig worth at least $2000 that someone's selling for $1100 Ahhh well, what can ya do, at least I have MY rig?! Blues! Merrick
  11. Nice Videos man, got me reminiscing, but.... don't you guys teach your students how to flare at Hinton, would explain a lot about a few brain-damaged eastern friends of mine. LOL Blues! Merrick
  12. That's kind of what I thought. Looked like they were only doing one exercise per muscle group, but probably doing it a little more intensly than I usually do. I used to use a Whey protein and take Xenadrine (pre-ephedra free), but I can't work out until 6:00pm and last time I took it after 5:00 I was up until 3:00am. LOL Thanks Dave. Blues! Merrick
  13. Ever since this last thread on the Body for Life Program... http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_view_flat;post=911717;page=2;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;mh=25; ...Pam and I have seriously been considering trying it. We've been working out consistantly for about a year now, but just aren't seeing the kind of results we expected (nevermind the 3 months over the holidays we took a break and ate whatever the hell we wanted). So, wanted to ask a few questions of those of you who actually have tried it. One of you mentioned that you do not have to use the EAS products. Exactly how big of a pain in the ass is it to NOT use them? Right now I'm about 195 w/ 12% bodyfat, personally I'd like to drop the bodyfat, but not lose any actual weight, maybe even gain 5 - 10lbs. So, I borrowed a friend's book for a few days to look over, just to see if I was really interrested, and after looking at the sample workout week it seemed like it has you seriously undertraining each muscle group. Keep in mind I haven't tried any of it yet, but considering the goals that I have it just doesn't seem like enough... then again, maybe I've overtrained in the past. Was just curious what you all thought about this, and the program in general, thanks! Blues! Merrick
  14. Definitely "B" But you can't have that, it's entirely too close to my canopy. LOL Blues! Merrick
  15. Yeah, Merry Christmas to ME!!! Mmmm.. that was a good night! Jou dirty rat bastardoes, thought you had already completed that opp?! Be forewarned, I have launched an updated protection plan/system that will track and warn against any possible future threats... I call it "Boobland Security!" I've just moved it to defcon 3. C'mon punks, make my day! Blues! Merrick
  16. They do? And which way is that? (Guess I'm not a real skydiver... ) The pins on my necklace point both ways... Yeah, didn't realize that myself. Pam and I have been making necklaces for people for about 3 years now and we've never really paid any attention to that little detail. Guess the correct way would be upside down. LOL I would have gone for the cash myself. We took an order once from a DZ owner for about 50 necklaces once, and I did have to choke back my comments about selling them to 1st timers & spectators, but hey the $$$ all spends the same. Blues! Merrick
  17. ROFL - Those are all pretty funny. Had a good one emailed to me this morning. I'm sure my kids have a few of these in their closet. Blues! Merrick
  18. Hi guys, just wanted to ask for a few good vibes sent our way. Pam's (Pammi's) dad was taken to the hospital last night to have emergency surgery done on an aneurism. We are pretty sure that everything will be OK, but we can still use all the good vibes we can get, cuz it's a very serious surgery. It's caught Pam & the rest of her family pretty off-guard, and their all really upset. He supposed to go in to surgery at 10:30 (central time), so pray, chant, clang symbols together, or do whatever is you do... cuz he could really use it. Thanks everyone!
  19. ROFL - In no way is that supposed to be a "windows" logo. Glad it was changed from the original design, cuz looking back, that one really DID look a lot like it! LOL Thanks man! Blues! Merrick
  20. Absolutely!!! I have the most AMAZING woman!! Thanks baby! Blues! Merrick
  21. Thanks Guys, I apreciate it. I wasn't going to let her post it until it was finished, but who cares... It's badass! lol The idea behind it is like a "window to my soul/heart/a perfect place," or any other corney cliche' you can think of. Like a Daydream, looking out a window, yada, yada. I can't wait to get it finished, the tribal & flames are going to make it all come together pretty awesome, I think. Glad you guys like it, hope everyone else does. Oh, Kevin Mashburn of Tattoo Zoo in Cary is actually the one doing it... I've heard horror stories about blue flame. Blues! Merrick
  22. Ahhh.. If only that were the case... Ya see, it was a bad landing on the tarmac at Quincy 2001 that ripped them from her otherwise perfectly sculpted boobies! Blues! Merrick
  23. Oh good gawd... I thought we were done with this. LOL *grumbling*rat bastard*grumbling* Sadly, Operation Mellons was eventually a success, but what's funny is it took a chick to figure out how to get it done! Avatar was pretty kick-ass, and for those of you who missed it, donations are being accepted via paypal, email: [email protected]. NOTE to nipple boy: to avoid any false advertisements or assumptions, there was no nipple. Blues! Merrick
  24. Hmmm... Didn't realize his incontinence problem was public knowledge. Shouldn't make fun tho, I'm sure it took a lot of nerve to share something like that... you're my hero! Seriously... congrats man, wish we were there. Blues! Merrick
