Maybe this is why we need guns in churches?

and christians are worried about bathrooms?

Still more dangerous than LGBT people: men of the cloth along with democratic and republican politicians.

I left a list in an earlier post demonstrating that both parties are equally in this category.

As for the guns... I think Tennessee is more a late night hanging party type state. ;)
Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

>it is so obvious that he is not a 'real' christian. I think we should ban all Christians until we know
>what we are really dealing with here......

We should at least take out their families, so that pastors will think twice before committing such crimes.

It's sad, as if sex trafficking isn't sick enough - that you have to spin this into a conservative christian issue and toss it up with some completely unrelated bullshit about guns in churches.

It's a bit disturbing how people can take advantage of these stories about abused children and use them in order to score political points and attack groups of people that they hate.

The story is about 32 individuals that were arrested for sex trafficking including a firefighter and an engineer, but it's the minister that gets all the attention with his picture plastered on the "front page" along with the headline.

If it were a Muslim that was singled out like that, you people would be flipping the fuck out.

If a Muslim was involved it would be business as usual, and those criticizing his behavior would be excoriated for "islamophobia."

As an aside, any scandal these days is a '-gate' and anything one finds distasteful is '-phobia," and neither of these appelations has much to do with any lexical definition.

Perverts will exploit any opportunity available to them. They use those opportunities (whether by seeking positions of trust or by exploiting legal loopholes) to place themselves near their victims. That's just what they do.

If a Muslim was involved Trump would be proposing deporting all the Muslims again, the airports would be a mess as the TSA searched every dark-skinned passenger for child porn and Oklahoma would be passing an anti-Muslims-near-schools bill.

But it's a Christian minister, so it's just one bad apple.

So you're cool with any person, any bathroom too?

TWO ministers.

I'm familiar with a TON of religious leader on young male victim sexual assaults in religion. Pretty disgusting actually.
I would say the same (and have in this very forum) about similar incidents involving Muslim men as well.
Why does it seem as though religion might be a common data point in sex offenses?

Anyone abusing a position of trust to exploit children should suffer the most grievous punishment.

I have zero tolerance for any phony teaching Sunday School and corrupting the minds of the young. The Bible says it would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone around their neck.
Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them.

Now you've gone and hurt my feelings.

You have tumbled to the fact that your approval is what I live for.

I want to be just like you when I grow up. You're so smart.

He says a lot, but I thought his proposal was to deport all illegals - the majority of which are probably christian.

As for the proper vetting of immigrants/refugees - The Obama administration has already "betrayed our values" by suspending the refugee program twice in the last 8 years to improve the process and limit fraud - so I don't think there's much to worry about anymore - tho I'm sure there's always room for improvement.

It's odd - since the things you say on other subjects clearly show you do have the ability to think and reason, I thought you said dumbass shit like the above because you were trolling for a reaction - kinda like Ron does with every subject you've decided to do it with this one.

But maybe you really do think that people would defend this guy's criminal behaviour if he was an imam instead of a minister, despite the ludicrous absurdity of the idea.

Either way, you do kinda need to just grow up.
Do you want to have an ideagasm?

While you dismiss the current attitude and treatment of Muslims based on a radical few.
Despite the ludicrous absurdity of the idea.

You're going to have to try that again, I really don't know what you mean.
Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Sorry, I thought the mistreatment and distrust of all Muslims was well known by now.

In the US, we have Trump calling for ZERO admission of "Muslims" - not a mention of whether or not they're citizens.
We suspend Muslim kids for making science projects.
We try to disallow them their right to assemble and practice their beliefs.
We instantly assume they are responsible for all crimes of terror (unless they're black)

So if one is called or or inaccurately accused of some type of dishonesty or criminal behavior, it's because Muslim.

How have you missed this?
It has become standard protocol and would have generally been accepted as much here in SC, as it has in the past.

If you had worded it as: 'The Obama administration has already "betrayed my values" by '

I would not have responded.

Obama has stated that turning our back on refugees through a suspension of the refugee program would be a 'betrayal of our values" - but his administration has already suspended refugee programs twice in the last 8 years.
