The 5 Most Dangerous Guns in America

According to rolling stone:

1.) Pistols
2.) Revolvers
3.) Rifles
4.) Shotguns
5.) Derringers

Of course #2 and #5 should be listed under pistols...but since they like making lists I thought I'd make one myself.

The most dangerous types of bears in america.

1.) Hungry Bears
2.) Angry Bears
3.) Large Bears
4.) Medium Sized Bears
5.) Depressed Bears

What is truly pathetic is someone actually got paid to write that piece of shit article.

It would be more appropriate if you claimed your list was of the most dangerous bears and then list the five most southern residing bears by latitude.

Also...

Quote

Popular among handgun-owners, pistols are defined by their built-in barrel and short stock.

huh?

Quote

Some grenade launchers, shotguns, and rifles also have rotating barrels, but the term "revolver" is generally used to describe handguns.

wha?

Additionally, the explosive that creates the energy to fire the gun occurs in the fixed shell of a shotgun rather than the metallic cartridge of a rifle

ha?

While high-capacity-magazine assault weapons have bee linked to large numnber-

oh forget it... Rolling Stone is not a very good clip.

They have a right to bear arms... how else would they get food? :)

Chuck

Bears have four legs and no arms. Therefore, they have no right to bear arms. It's a matter of biology and an outrage! Someone should call God and the NRA.

Don''t be so hard on yourself Chuck, you did a fine job, sir!
FYI, I'm just being my regular 'Whatta Jerk' self as I wait on 4 trains to pass before I can sit on and test some rail here in Montana.

I was extremely disappointed by that article. I was expecting a shopping list to inspire future purchases and got that useless crap.

OTOH, maybe their message is "buy them all?"

That article read like someone who had never see nor heard of a gun, spent 30 minutes googling, then wrote the article with what he found.:S

That said, I have seen the occasional very good article in RS, but never more than one article worth reading in an issue. Hence the reason I never subscribed.

Well, more likely she just read the ATF reports and used them almost verbatim. Those silly categories come from their reports.

Dude, this is a magazine that writes stories on the hair styles of musicians.

Rolling Stone also has great political writers like Tim Dickinson. The excellent Matt Taibbi has moved on, which is too bad. His blog and articles are still up at

It sounds like the publisher has yet to find a good replacement for Matt.
