Looks like Pickets Charge in WaterTown. There must be 15,000 troops, plus no fly zone with black hawk helicopters flying around. Plus they're going to have a controlled demolition of one of the IED's.

I think I read they were going to do a controlled demo of the suspects' house.

Seems odd...wouldn't there be evidence in there they'd want to go through?

Of course---- the 20 million dollar gov't analysis of what a 19 and 26 year olds did in a week. After they blow up the house, they reconstruct it in a hanger somewhere. After all, the did build an exact replica of Bin Laudins house somewhere to practice their operation before actually going to the house.??????????????????????????????????????????????????

Looks like it only took 5 hours from the time their faces were shown on TV before the shit hit the fan. :S

crazy, huh? who'd've thought that there would be video, press, go-pros, cell phones, and cameras at the finish line of the Boston Marathon?

Remember the runner being rushed out on a wheelchair? He lost both of his legs. HE identified the bombers. Locked eyes with one of them as he was setting down the backpack.

Another Chechen terrorist act was the 2002 Moscow movie theater hostage-taking. About 130 hostages died in that one.

They're born with the same genes. However, socialization seems to make a difference, doesn't it [:/]

And, ya know -- it could still be a setup, or something else like that -- too much is unknown, and jumping to conclusions early based on limited information is more damaging in this case than in the Incidents forum.

Here's an article about the interview with the brothers' uncle: http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/04/19/17827354-what-motivated-bombing-suspects-being-losers-uncle-says

"Chechens are a peaceful people"... ummmm depends on whose point of view I would say! :S

ETA - fixed the response tags - also the Chechens hated Russia for invading their country and turning it into a Soviet republic. I can understand that hatred. Still doesn't excuse targeting innocent civilians. >:(

They've been kicked around for 200 years

Surprising how kicking people around and seriously doesn't pacify them :o:S

Think that might apply anywhere else? :|

You missed the video of a Chechen soldier slitting a Russian's throat.
[:/]

Maybe you haven't heard about what the Russians did to the Chechen civilians. It was a horror show.

http://www.christusrex.org/www1/icons/russ-atrocities.html

What the Russians did in Chechnya was nothing short of genocide.
