Yes! That's my point. European "right wingers" are still socialists (Hitler, Franco, Mussolini). Hitler even named his outfit "National Socialist German Workers' Party" Just one extreme socialist political ideology. The other extreme is Communism. Reality for the common "citizen" is the same for either. I suppose someone living under either tyranny could be reasonably happy if they didn't complain too much. Your right wingers are quite different from US right wingers in ideology although our left wing likes to lump them together in an attempt to make political hay. On the other hand, socialists (fascists and communists) are pretty much the same ideologically everywhere.
