wayneflorida 0 #1 November 1, 2010 The kid is a menace to society. Not a conformist. The horse poop is a hazard. The sword he had could run through three people at once. Even if fake there had to be militant intent. The squire is almost equivalent to slavery. The fucking horse flies he brought to infest the school. Worse than bed bugs. 1100 pounds of fury that could go postal and crush tens of kids before cops got there and shoot the horse 276 times. And the worse offense - They gave the horse a french name. Pierre Trigger is rolling in his grave. (Yeh I know he's stuffed.) Two days is not enough. http://www.myfoxboston.com/dpp/news/local/horse-riding-teen-suspended-from-school-20101031

jdthomas 0 #3 November 2, 2010 wow, really? I have ben out of school just 20 yrs, have things changed that much? A horse at a rural Kansas school would have almost been expected at least once per year! They are still a transportation mode here! Now a skayeboard on the other hand, I could see where that would land you with a suspension!www.greenboxphotography.com

Andy9o8 0 #8 November 2, 2010 QuoteThe family says they plan to contest the suspension. Good. Every week I see at least 2 or 3 contestants for "stupid local officials of the week" in the news. Half of them tend to be school administrators. This is clearly a worthy nominee.

normiss 622 #11 November 2, 2010 I'm pissed.I was suspended in 1977 for a WHOLE WEEK just for riding a wheelie on my motorcycle down the main hall of the school. My dad didn't even take the bike away....
Icon134 0 #12 November 2, 2010 Wow... have we as a society gone so far as to say that riding a horse (outdoors in the school parking lot) something that would have been done by necessity a century ago... is now something punishable... as others have implied... there are probably places where riding a horse to school is not only a nonissue but commonplace...Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife... You got: 2 days for riding the motorcycle down the hall. 2 days for not wearing a helmet. 1 day for popping the wheelie.
