Why is anyone listening to the republicans?

Recommended Posts

No really I want to know.

How do you constantly be wrong, cost countless humane lives, raped the constitution, and hurt this country more then any terrorist could ever and still take your self seriously or be viewed with any validity?

I am lost.. Why would any one give any merit to what the rep. have to say?

To the Reps themselves. How fucked up do you have to make things to actually reevaluate your views? Is that even possible?

>we have a choice between bad and unfucking believably bad

We have a choice between:

-spending way too much money
-killing tens of thousands of Iraqis for no reason
-getting thousands of US troops killed
-pissing off democrats

and

-spending way too much money
-pissing off republicans

I'll take the option with less killing any day.

-regulating EVERYTHING

I'll take the option with less killing any day.

fixed it.

once the war ends for either side, that issue is fixed. I prefer to keep more of my money, and making my own decisions. the cost to me is listening to some christian babble every so often, but you get a little of that with the lefties too.

I lost a few friends in the war. Many people lost far more. Ending the war will not "fix" that.

> I prefer to keep more of my money, and making my own decisions.

Then you are in just as much trouble with either party.

At least you are honest.
It is all about YOU and YOUR money. You don't care to participate in contributing toward the greater good of this country. Not even close. You are consumed with greed and don't really care at all about the rest of your fellow citizens.

Thanks for your honesty. I an truly sorry that your attitude is so common these days.

and

- a country spending 3 times the amount of money ever in the history of the world
- becoming more government controled than other socialist countries
- letting our military become complacent and thus opening us up to attact
- screwing the veterans that sacrificed their lives for this great country by calling them terrorists but calling the terrorists freinds
- pay for the health care for millions of illegals
- listem to the president lie time and time again
- listen to nancy polisi call millions of americans terrorists because they don't believe the same as she does
- listen to the president promote Islam (the people that bombed the US)and denounce christianity(the people that help build this great country)
-pissing off republicans
-and don't forget that hundreds (soon to be thousands) of our soldiers will be dead under Obama's watch
I'll take the option with less killing any day.

Added a few little details for you

Well we all like to blame the Republicans or the Democrats but it is my opinion that we are all at fault for what happened over the last 8 years. And by "we" I mean the American people.

Until WE decide to take responsibility for OUR actions then nothing will change regardless of which party is in power.

But hey football season starts this week, hockey is in 4 weeks, and Piggly Wiggly has a sale on cake so fuck it.

Honesty is painful huh, since this attitude and indepentence is what made this country what it is. the current admin wishes to change this. I agree with BDashe. AS does most of those in this country.

And both parties are our problem right now. But Obama and his Czars are the worst thing going at this time

An example

"America will never be destroyed from the outside,
if we falter and lose our freedoms,
it will be because we destroyed ourselves."

There's not an option with less killing. There's just a choice of where it happens.

I am glad we're not going to "bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran." At least we won't start another war.

Hooray. Excuse me for my failure to get excited.

Can't we have a "don't go off and kill a bunch of innocent people in other countries to impose our will on them" option?

Just because some other guy would have done even more bad stuff is no reason to excuse the current bad stuff.

If the choice is between killing tens of thousands and listening to things that annoy you, I'm going to go with the "annoy" choice. You'll survive being annoyed. Jerry McCauley did not survive the war.

I'll take it a step further - I want control - I do not want to BE controlled. I am very generous with my capital. I give to worthy causes daily, and this is not including the forced charity I am held hostage to give. I just want to be able to control what and where I spend what I work for. I am tired of supporting people that won't do for themselves. I want to better the country as I SEE FIT - not how you think it should be.

So the Iraqi thing - which side are we blaming that on? Time to whip out the video, again. Seems like alot of policy makers on both sides saw it as a matter of national security.

Look bill, I'm not trying to get into a pissing contest. I've lost some friends too, one of the nicest guys with the biggest hearts left us just a few months ago while training afghani troops. It makes me angry. It doesn't take one person to make the decision to go to war, no matter how you want to paint it. Our service men know they may have to go to battle against their political will, that's a catch 22 of being in a voluntary military. It may be a tough pill to swallow, but welcome to reality.

Yes, I vote based on what I think is fair. I dont think it is fair for our government to play robin hood. I don't trust our government based on my own experiences. I do plenty to 'help this country' and others, I'm content to pay taxes, but not at the rates the left wing dictates, or for many of the programs they opt to support.

As I heard a gay guy state in SFO about a year ago 'I'm fiscally conservative and socially fabulous!'

Be safe,

Brett

Because 43rd Administration LIED about the threat.

What you consider a lie is what congress, who really made the decision, decided to act on.

You are telling me that Bush Himself fabricated all of the evidence that was shown to the congress and personaly witheld what was not?

Nope. I now consider GWB to be the dupe of the PNAC. It all starts at the Naval Observatory.
