RALFFERS 0 #1 March 12, 2009 I'm just curious. Are you so set in your beliefs that you feel safe? Me?--sometimes I'm scared, other times I'm not. Sometimes I think about it too much, while other times not at all. Most times I'm just curious to find out what lies after death. turtlespeed 212 #5 March 12, 2009 I read an e-mail the other day. I liked the analogy. You ever see a puppy wanting inside a room that he hears something in, excited and wanting to go there? Yeah, that is kind of how I look at Heaven. When God opens the door, I'll be more than happy to go in.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun

livendive 8 #21 March 12, 2009 Nope. It's something I'd like to delay for the foreseeable future, but when I'm done, I'm done. The approaching conclusion of any good story is somewhat bittersweet. I don't want it to end, but it also makes me appreciate everything that led up to it. I hope, when the time comes, that my story ends like that. I also hope that there are a lot of pages left to turn and surprises to reveal before I get there. Afraid? No. I'm just still engrossed and wondering what happens next. dropdeded 0 #22 March 12, 2009 I'll have to say yes. Dying, that is a scary ass thought. There are just so, so many different ways it can happen. I see a lot of death and dying at work. Some peaceful and painless. Some incredibly painful and violent. A lot of it seems to be simply relief for those that pass. A lot of folks have time to think about it as it approaches and a lot of times it just surprises everyone. Myself, again, yes. The "process" of passing no matter how it happens scares me. Maybe because it is such an unknown. Now as for being dead, no, not at all. No matter what death brings, whatever, this life deal is at times awesome, and at times completely sucks so whenever, whatever.....------------------------------------------ The Dude Abides. -

BillyVance 34 #25 March 12, 2009 Many times, a discussion on the philosophies of life and death will lead to religion. But yeah the light switch dumped the thread way over the edge. I'm not ready to die yet, but if it happens before I want it to, I would be okay knowing that my wife and kid knew I loved them very much.
