jtval 0 #1 June 20, 2003 I've seen this a few times. people talking about age difference then they say OLDER and add a number that is only 2 and 4 years difference. so heres my query- what do you consider too old/young to date. personally I have my limits but I choose option 5. age is a figment of your imagination in most cases. ion dating I dont think I would date more then 10 years difference. there is always the exception though...who knows...who cares? Its all out the window by then though I generally consider people a few years older and a couple years younger than me in the eligible category though. And believe it or not, age wasn't a big issue between us. The fact that I was a skydiver (you know spending weekends at the DZ) and she wasn't (she never got around to coming to the DZ for as tandem). I miss her youthful exuberance and the fact that I was able to get some every once in a while. But other than that, I don't really miss her. It DOES make a wad of difference if the younger person is in their 20's. They still have a whole lotta livin' and growin' up to do! I was in a long term relationship with a man 12 years younger. 99.9% of the time the age difference didn't matter and didn't create any problems. Once in a blue moon there would be an issue that I had already experieced just because I'd been on the planet longer. He was often smart enough to learn from me!
