  1. I was in the tunnel for 1/2 hour 2 nights in a row. Was learning to sitfly in there. Was having to work very hard to fall slower than in the sky. Towards the end of the sessions i was feeling really weak in my arms. Turns out i totally fried the nerves in my shoulders and could hardly use my arms for 2 months. Im not a weak guy - think that it was just putting that much stress on them in a way theyd never felt before. Flown in there since and the problem hasnt recurred - guess its a muscle memory thing. Adi
  2. Homer : You tried your best and failed miserably, the lesson is never to try.
  3. Just over 300 jumps. All in the past 9 months. Fordy and craig briefed about 10 of us. Went up and I did my first jumps on a classic 2 with gus.
  4. £3.51 per day for food + accomadation So about £25 ( $38) But when i was in perris over easter lived on a dollar a day. Ok so i lost abit of weight - but i down sized lots so it was ok! Adi
  5. 330 and a couple of months to go. No that that helps because im stuck in the uk an its f$%kin freezin.
  6. I found that i was only going at about 125mph on the beginner board. Did a stand up deployment and had no problems.
  7. Skydiving definatly has the greater adrenaline rush - but when it comes to learning new body positions or techniques a wind tunnel is more productive. name - Adi age - 19 # of jumps - 330 how many minutes in the tunnel - 15 need more (and most importantly)opinion of which one is better - both amazing.
  8. Definatly get out with someone. Its gonna be hard to tell the difference between speeds when you are on your own. Also trying to de-arch can cause v.fast forward or backward movement if you dont get the position right (pitch of body). Ive had to chase a guy with 50 jumps around the sky in a track position cos he thought he was doing a good de-arch but actually had high and straight legs. Do some coached+videoed jumps as soon as you can. They will be much more productive. If all else fails do some no contact hybrids! Theyre great!
  9. Get the flat guys to take high grips for extra stability. Take cheststrap grips and come out flat then once youre all stable bring your knees up and push under. Start in a ball/sit then push it into a stand. Also if the flat guys are wearing goggles suggest they tighted them as they can expect to go at least 30mph faster. Have fun Adi
