peterk 0 #1 December 5, 2003 Just wondering, the last job I had, they told me within 3 days that I wasn't allowed to access dz.com, and I wasn't on there very often. I can't imagine that some of these employers are happy with people posting and posting all day at work... Let the posts from people at work begin!!!--------------- Peter BASE - The Ultimate Victimless Crime

mailin 0 #4 December 5, 2003 my work doesn't realize how much I'm on here... they'd have to get server logs for that and I don't think they know they can get that. Otherwise, every window is half minimized so no one can see... JenniferArianna Frances

KawiZX900 0 #10 December 5, 2003 I spent a solid 8 months on a computer at a Navy intel center dz.commin it solid every day and never once heard a peep.. And we're talking about IT's that like to log on a watch you while you wake and deliver the occansional "I see you" out of no where on your screen.. Now, I work for myself for the better part of the day and all O' the night and I don't get that mad at myself to often.. Accelerate hard to get them looking, then slam on the fronts and rollright beside the car, hanging the back wheel at eye level for a few seconds. Guaranteed reaction- Dave Sonsky

TitaniumLegs 8 #13 December 5, 2003 Not only do I not put jumps on the corp credit card, I paid for the slots when I jumped with the filer (computer) bezel, the photos of which were later used for a couple events! The least they can do is let me surf porn look at skydiving sites from work! (>o|-< If you don't believe me, ask me.
jceman 1 #14 December 6, 2003 QuoteThey can't fire me. They'd have to buy me out first. Not only that, but it's in your job description that you have to post on dropzone.com. Now don't the rest of you envy Da Bytch? Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them? steve1 5 #15 December 6, 2003 I guess I'm overdue for a reprimand. I have trouble staying off this site. The guy before me, in my office, was fired because he supposedly was checking out porno sites, so I know our computers are monitored. So I hope I don't get fired for being a DZ.Com addict. It's all Sanquiro's fault.....Steve1

champu 1 #17 December 6, 2003 This summer I'd often be sitting in the lab running some automated tests I'd written that took figgin -forever- and I'd be sitting there staring at this anechoic chamber while these two-way radios sat there chirping into a microphone, completely spacing out and my manager told me I should get a cup of coffee and browse the web or something while I waited... ...and so, ya know, you shouldn't go disappointing your manager
konradptr 0 #18 December 6, 2003 Hey Peter, I dont have any prob acessing DZ.com from work, but it seems like there are alot of peeps that make it an unhealthy habit of posting while "working". For what ever reason, it seems that Canadians have a very laxidazical approach to work. Why do they seem to be the biggest PW around? If not self-hatred motivated, its just mindless whoring for numbers. Oh well, I guess that Americans have a higher work ethic than some. See ya. ------------------------------------------ Getting banned isn't that bad......

SkydiveNFlorida 0 #20 December 6, 2003 I assume they know I post. I post fairly often. I am on the internet a good part of my time at work. We get company-wide e-mails now and again reminding us that the internet it business only... but wtf am I supposed to do when i'm not busy. My job is to watch a computer system, It would surely be worse if I fell asleep, right? Besides, I need something to do between homework problems. Angela. JadedLady 0 #21 December 6, 2003 I am a supervisor at my company, so I try to get on when I am monitoring from my desk. The only problem is my boss's office was right behind my desk. Well, on Monday I just got a promotion to a different department and guess what? No one's behind me now!!! Woo-hoo!
