Recommended Posts

Norway and Sweeden has said NO,i hope Denmark follows that.

Try this out.
you have a normal mashal on board,he eats his donuts as he use to and aint werry fit. now out nice terroist used 6 month in a close combat traing school, now guess who will have a fire amr on borad a airplane faster than the mashal can say fuck ,now thats just a stupied idea...[:/]

Why not just im prove the securety at the ground...simpel as that. if you then want a fat mashall on board un armed then go ahead but weappons has nothing to do up there.period.

US flights have undercover Air Marshals on them already sometimes.

Speaking of total dumbasses . . . did you read this?

Woman Tries To Choke Air Marshall?
MINNEAPOLIS — With air security extremely tight, a woman aboard a flight between Pittsburgh and Minneapolis was arrested after a confrontation with an air marshall.

Passengers aboard the Northwest flight say the woman appeared to be drunk. When approached by an on-board air marshall, the woman allegedly tried to choke and kick the officer.

She also allegedly bit another officer as she was escorted off the plane.

The woman could be facing federal charges of interfering with a flight crew.

That bitch need the treatment they gave the hysterical lady in the movie airplane, by everyone on board!

Now I don't have to find a way to get a gun through security. I can just steal the marshals one

There are several other agencies that can carry weapons aboard aircraft and they fly quite often.;)

we have a air marshal that is on this board often I'll wait till he chimes in to give his two cents.....

I don't think he/she is going to identify himself/herself on this board. He/she probably wouldn't feel comfortable on an airplane if there was a possibility that potential hijackers knew who he/she was.

Have you been listening to all of the wailing and gnashing of teeth caused by the current increases in security? I don't think that increasing them even further is going to be very "simple".

My opinon: the air marshall should not have blown his cover to handel a drunk.
Perhaps the flight attendents should look at hng security guards. If Royce Gracie or Ken Shamrock told her to sit down I bet she would.B|

Or the potential that frequent flying skydivers would buy him a bunch of booze on the long flights in first class.:P

WTF?? If the English translation of what you were trying to say is that Air Marshals are donut eating fatbodys, with poor weapons retention skills, then fine, you get to be wrong. If a hijacker makes the same mistake of underestimation, he gets to go see Allah. The FAM service is known to have the most stringent firearms qualifications in the federal government. They employ some of the finest combat shooters on the planet.

They had damn well better, considering the most likely combat zone.

I know for a fact this is not true by ANY stretch of the imagination.

Back up that statement, please. Tell us how you know that to be fact. If you can provide links to back up your claims, that would be great.

You will most likely be waiting indefinitely. The chap won't draw attention to himself.

I'm not sure what you are disputing. I did not mean to include them with delta or team six or whatever, I was referring to civilian agencies. Please note that I did not say all of them are that good. I personally know several who are, one of which is ranked in the top ten in the world. Don't ask by which ranking org., you won't get an answer. Here is the FAM qual standard used for years: www.thegunzone.com/fam-lawman/fam-qual.html. The info on the page has a few arrors, but it is pretty close. The FAM service has since moved away from the TPC as a qual standard, but are now moving back to something similar. For the past year or so, they have used the PPC with a qual score of 255 out of 300 as a passing score, it's the hightest standard in the fed gov't, the average FAM score is very high. Why did they change? Too many were failing to qual on the TPC....it's a tough course of fire if you don't train to it. Most FAMS can pass it though. Some knuckleheads, however, who slipped through in the hiring process will never be able to pass it, and the service will probably never be able to get rid of them. Yea, that sucks.

It's quite understandable why pilots don't like the idea of having armed passengers onboard an airplane. Most equipment onboard an airplane usually wont work too well with a bullet hole in it...... The same reasoning applies for the fuselage/windows.

My .02 cents.

Just seal the pilots off. Design planes like taxi cabs so there's no way of getting from the back into the front unless your parked up.

No bugger's gonna take over that plane. So the pilot can't screw the stewardess - but hey, they get to do enough of that on the ground.

"Turn East now or I shoot this passenger."
Most pilots would comply after the first passenger.

At best, it might prevent the fox-4 (aircraft as missile) attack, but it won't stop hijackings.

It also makes it very difficult for other aircrew to assist pilots. UAL 232 would have been worse if the DC10 flight instructor couldn't get into the cockpit.
