Why did they change? Too many were failing to qual on the TPC....it's a tough course of fire if you don't train to it. Most FAMS can pass it though. Some knuckleheads, however, who slipped through in the hiring process will never be able to pass it, and the service will probably never be able to get rid of them. Most equipment onboard an airplane usually wont work too well with a bullet hole in it...... The same reasoning applies for the fuselage/windows. My .02 cents. Yves.
