AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Nipples are sensitive...

I hope nobody makes weird comments for my writing this, but I have actually hurt my nip brushing my long hair post-shower...pre-clothed. Enough said! :(

It is kind-of pretty, though...ooooh, the sun. Purdy.

LOL! Paul, you're cute.

No, no, no -- you can't blame me for this one. I saw that something was covering her nipple on the very brief first showing on TV. Even in the ugly resolution of TV it was pretty obviously covered by -something- and pretty much everyone agreed.

Even in the second photo it looked like a pastie.

It was only when I saw this -extreme- close up that it was even possible to question that maybe something a little "different".

Clearly this "device" was choosen with much care.

Hmmm, I coulda swore you said something to that effect on the first page of the Superbowl comments thread.

Maybe I misinterpreted it in the heat of battle, but I coulda swore you said something about the Panthers and a runaway game.

Like the others said, its a nipple shield.

The initial piercing is usually done with a plain ring, and once its healed, it can be replaced with a barbell or a barbell/shield combo, like in the photo.

not a good idea to put that on the piercing initially, as it makes cleaning difficult and can put stress on the piercing, making it reject.
