Michele 1 #1 April 20, 2004 What would possess someone to take information from another person's profile here, and do their damnedest to intimidate them? What sort of person would do something like that? My guess is a lowbrowed, egocentric, pretentious person... No, I don't know who it was that did this. It's public information, after all. But to take it and do something with it that is detrimental is beyond the pale. To "stalk", in essence, someone who's done nothing to deserve that, who's done nothing but be nice to people here... I'M FURIOUS! I just can't understand that kind of thinking nor that sort of behavior. Can someone explain it to me? Please? I'm far from stupid, I'm far from naive, but this is something that I just couldn't imagine anyone doing. When it happened to CanuckinUSA, I was appalled. To find it's happened again to someone else (who I happen to know is about as nice as someone can get....) is simply ridiculous, childish, and absolutely bizarre. So much for being a family here.... My advice? Take all personally identifying information from your profiles. There are some seriously obsessive people who come here. I'd say a whole lot more, but I don't know who did this, and I don't want to waste my one free personal attack without knowing if it's worth it (besides, if I don't know who it is, how could it be a personal attack??) Must be a lerker who isn't part of us..it's sad that we all need to withdraw any details of our identity because of psychos..unbelievable.
