happythoughts 0 #54 June 1, 2004 Last year, I saw the Eagles on tour. Unlike some bands, where there is only one guiding talent, each member has excelled individually. I think they are incredibly talented, but not a rock band. Easy listening. Paul and John were great musicians. Ballads but not rockers. I have seen Led Zep and the Stones live more than once. I think greatness is the lack of repetition. A style is one thing, but the songs should be unique. It's kind of a toss, but I have to go with LZ.
