EricaH 0 #1 June 3, 2004 So, my co-worker sits bout 15 ft away from me. he's sitting there, chewing his gum w/ his mouth open. to me this is one of the most horrid noises in the universe. the sound of spit being squished into a rubbery like substance, blech, it just grates on my ears . I've said comments like "does it taste better with air?" and "trying to catch bugs w/ your gum?" he just looks @ me, turns away & continues along. gackkk. i can't stand it!! anyway, sorry petpeeve freak out here. Can you please turn the volume down to zero. In other words, chew with your mouth closed." She was surprised and then very offended but she got rid of the gum.
